Physical 100‘s episode 7 and 8 introduced Quest 4, where each team had to split up. Each individual had to select one of five games to compete in against three competitors from the other teams. Physical 100 Quest 4 tests competitors’ stamina and strength, depending on which game they played in.
The 20 surviving finalists after Quest 3’s 1.5 ton boat challenge came a long way. They first competed in the side-quest, where they hung from the rafters and tried not to fall in the water. They then competed in the sudden-death match for Quest 1, where the person holding the ball at the end of three minutes won. Then they had to team up for Quest 2’s Moving Sand and race against another team to see who could carry the most sand to their sandbox.
“The fourth quest is a team delegate match. The team emissary match consists of five games, and one delegate from each team enters each game,” expalined the AI computer host before the games started for Physical 100 Quest 4. “You must select one delegate from your current team to enter each game. The four contestants entering each game compete against each other, and only one contestant survives while the others are eliminated.”
All fives games for Quest 4 test stamina and are based on ancient mythology of these four legendary characters: Atlas, Prometheus, Icarus, Sisyphus, Ouroboros.
Each team had to select a delegate to enter each quest by democratically discussing which game each player would be best at. Here are the five different games or “punishments”, which Physical 100 cast members competed,
First Game – The Punishment of Atlas From Quest 4: Rules, Losers & Winner

First Game – The Punishment of Atlas competitors picking up their rocks (Netflix).
“In this quest, you have to hold up a big rock and stay still until there’s only one person left standing,” the AI told competitors. “If a contestant drops their rock or fall to the ground they’re eliminated.”
Apparently The Punishment of Atlas rock they had to hold on their shoulders weighed 50 kg, which equals 110 lbs.
The teammates who picked to compete in The Punishment of Atlas were: bodybuilder Kim Kang-min, boxer Shin Bo-mi-rae, national skeleton team coach Kim Sik, and strongman athlete and car dealer Jo Jin-hyeong. The game is named after Atlas because he was a Titan who Zeus condemned to hold the heavens on his shoulders.
Shi Bo-mi-rae was out before the contest really even begam. She failed to lift the boulder onto her back. Next Kim Kang-min tired out and dropped his rock. Kim Sik finally dropped his boulder after holding it for over two hours on his shoulders. Jo Jin-hyeong won the competition and will compete in the finale of Quest 5 for the Physical 100 title.
The Second Game – The Fire of Prometheus: Rules, Losers & Winner

The Second Game – The Fire of Prometheus competitors racing (Netflix).
In The Fire of Prometheus, contestants had to run on a repetitive obstacle course until one is last to take a torch. The cast members in this challenge had to climb over a large wooden obstacle before running to the other end, with water on the track, and then grab a torch out of the sand. The competitors for the second game were baseball player Dustin Nippert, dance choreographer Miracle, luger Park Jin-yong, bodybuilder Seol Ki-kwan. The game is named after Prometheus because he’s the Titan who stole fire from Zeus.
Dustin Nippert was the first out after he got caught on the obstacle and failed to grab a torch. Seol Ki-kwan was out second. In the final, Miracle came up just short and Park Jin-yong grabbed the final torch to make it to the 5th Quest.
Third Quest – The Wings of Icarus: Rules, Losers & Winners

Third Quest – The Wings of Icarus contestants climbing their ropes (Netflix).
“Contestants must continuously climb up a rope until only one person is left,” the AI computer told Physical 100 contestants.
Physical 100 cast members had to climb a rope that keeps falling down in the third game called The Wings of Icarus. Mountain rescuer and ice-climber Kim Min-cheol, wrestler Son Hee-dong, stuntwoman Kim Da-young, and bodybuilder Song A-reum clashed in this winner take-all game. The game is named after Icarus who in Greek mythology had wings and fell to earth after flying to close to the sun.
Song A-reum dropped to the ground first, exhausted. Kim Da-young touched the floor shortly thereafter. Son Hee-dong dropped next and Kim Min-cheol survived as the winner to fight another day.
Physical 100‘s Fifth Game – The Tail of Ouroboros: Rules, Losers & Winners

Fifth Game – The Tail of Ouroboros contestants running around the track (Netflix).
The Tail of Ouroboros is a circular catch-the-tail game according to the AI computer host. “Four contestants start running at the same time and need to tag to eliminate the person in front of them. The one person to survive without getting tagged moves on.” Although this was named the fifth game, it was shown fourth on the show before Punishment of Sisyphus.
Competitors musical actor and model Jang Han-saem, luger Cho Jung-myung, CrossFitter Woo Jin-yong, dancer Cha Hyun-seung competed in The Tail of Ouroboros is a Greek and Egyptian symbol of a snake devouring its own tail.
Cha Hyun-seung was the first tagged out. He struggled because he had a broken rib and Cho Jung-myung caught him. Cho Jung-myung’s quick burst of speed at the start tired him out, though, and he was the next caught. Woo Jin-yong then tracked down Jang Han-saem to win the game and move on to the final.
Fourth Quest – Punishment of Sisyphus: Rules, Losers & Winners

Fourth Quest – Punishment of Sisyphus competitors pushing their rocks up the hill (Netflix).
“In the Punishment of Sisyphus contestants must roll a 100-kilogram boulder up a hill. You must go up and down the hill repeatedly, moving the boulder until one last person is left,” the AI computer host said in explaining the rules. The game is named after Greek mythological king Sisyphus who Zeus forced to roll a rock up a hill forever and ever in Hades. The 100-kilogram boulders they have to push up weigh 220 lbs.
Cyclist Jung Hae-min, skeleton gold medalist Olympian Yun Sung-bin, MMA fighter Choo Sung-hoon, and bodybuilder Ma Sun-ho. After a long battle of stamina, Ma Sun-ho first tired out from rolling the boulder up the hill. Choo Sung-hoon was next to succumb to the endless game of pushing a 100-kilogram boulder up and down a hill.
In the finale episode, the Punishment of Sisyphus ends when Yun Sung-bin tires out. Jung Hae-min wins the challenge and joins the other four finalists. But who is the Physical 100 season 1’s winner?
