Netflix‘s new survival competition show Outlast — think reality TV show Survivor blended with the novel Lord of the Flies — puts sixteen stranded competitors against the remote Alaskan wilderness and each other. Besides bears, constant rainfall in the rainforest, struggling to find clean drinking water, food and shelter, these self-described lone-wolves of the Outlast cast need to work in a team if they want to have a chance at winning a possible million-dollar prize.
It’s certainly a lot more cutthroat and ruthless a competition than The Mole. However, Netflix viewers are claiming Outlast is scripted and fake. Either way, it’s wildly entertaining.
Right from the start, the Outlast cast split into four teams of four. Here’s info on all the Outlast cast members, including their Instagram accounts, jobs, ages, home states and what team camp (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta) each individual is on. Show Star News will add more if there’s more info given from an Outlast reunion episode.
Amber Asay (Team Alpha) From Outlast Cast

“I’m a recovered heroin addict, I’m a felon, I’m a survivor. Through that, I’ve seen some really dark sides of humanity,” Amber said on the first episode of Outlast. She’s already been a survivor of an attempted murder by her ex boyfriend.
“I was shot in the face by the man I loved with a 22-caliber gun. Luckily he was about 15 feet away, so it went straight though. I wish I could say that’s the worst thing that’s happened to me, but it’s not.”
According to Netflix’s Tudum, Amber began her healing journey by going on a trip with a shaman into the desert for three days without supplies. Amber has trekked the Enchantments, one of the toughest North American trails. She can hoke up to 26 miles in a day as a thru-hiker.
