Overconfidence and inexperience did Outlast‘s Jordan Williams in. The Marine looks every inch the part of the rugged survivalist but he was up against far more seasoned opponents. He tried to dunk on tenacious EMT Angie Kenai during the race to the crab pot island by doing push-ups on his raft. In doing so he missed the current and the island entirely, while Angie’s superior skill and motivation got her to land first and netted her three crab pots. Jordan’s Delta team, in the lead up to that point, never recovered and crumbled, with a starving Jordan taking a header onto hard ground. Teammate Paul Preece defected to Team Charlie, leaving Joel Hungate and Dawn Nelson at the mercy of the Team Alpha demon squad.
Jordan understood the ramifications of his mistake immediately, breaking down and openly weeping. However he wouldn’t be around to witness the aftermath as he opted not to return to the game after passing out. He wrote a heartfelt letter to his Delta teammates urging them on, and Paul was able to win a portion of the prize money. So maybe Jordan was able to save some face. Let’s see what else we can find out about this young man with a lot to learn.

Outlast‘s Jordan Williams: Marine Corps, Family, Dog, Guitar, Construction Job

Jordan’s soldiering is his main hustle, but he appears to have a side hustle in construction. Sometimes he can be found in an orange-and-yellow vest or swinging a hammer. According to a picture on Jordan’s Instagram of him in his dress uniform, his shoulder insignia has him at the rank of Lance Corporal. However, he is also a devoted husband and dad to his two little girls Remi and Thea. Recently, Jordan found out he was going to be a dad for the third time, to a baby boy who is due in June. He’s also very fond of his rescue dog and sometimes workout partner, Nolla. When the mood strikes him, he’ll play a tune on his trusty guitar, such as Pink Floyd’s Wish You We Here.

Jordan is a fan of intense workouts, from CrossFit and clean-and-jerks to long distance runs and hauling heavy kegs. He seems to always find some reason to be shirtless outside for these constitutionals. He bonds with his dear old dad during elk hunting season, as the pair can be found in the bush together according to a few photos. Jordan also celebrates his mom Sheila during special occasions such as Mother’s Day. Rounding out his immediate family is his little sister Madison, who just recently turned 23 on March 3. Jordan loves a whole host of outdoor activities, including golf, kayaking, fishing, or just hanging out at the water park with his girls. It seems Jordan played football when he was younger, but he also talks about a back injury that may have put an end to that.

Being 25, Jordan gets the social media influencer game a lot better than his older Outlast peers. He’s sitting pretty at 11,200 followers, which makes him the cast champion. He asks in his description if anyone is looking for a model, and it’s not entirely clear if he’s joking or not. Fans of GoPro weapon videos will get a lot of enjoyment out of some of Jordan’s posts. He’s got videos of him shooting at the range, both pistols and rifles. He demonstrates his bow and arrow technique in a few short videos. Where was this when he was living on the Neka River in Alaska’s rainforest? Then there’s his clip where he goes all out with the MK19 grenade launcher.

Jordan has a lot of love in his life and hopefully he grows from his experience on Outlast. We’d definitely like to see him on an Outlast reunion episode.
