Fraser Olender charmed fans on Below Deck season 9 because of his keen wit, talking to himself and his strong work ethic. Even though he had a bit of a crush on Jake Foulger, he didn’t let the lead deckhand leading him on throughout the season get between their friendship. Speaking of friendships, he was also close with Rayna Lindsey, and got along with everyone except perhaps Jessica Albert. Besides Below Deck fans wanting to know what happened to Fraser after season 9, they also want to know if he will be on Below Deck season 10.
Here are all the major things Fraser’s been up to since leaving superyacht My Seanna.
What Fraser’s Been Up To After Below Deck season 9
Fraser, from an upper class family in the UK, continues to live his James Bond-like lifestyle, minus the ladies and violence. After Below Deck season 9 filmed, Fraser traveled to France, Monaco Yacht Club, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Dubai, Saint Lucia, Mauritius, and Morocco.
Fraser’s Instagram, when not posing by the pool, consists of him always in designer clothes, shoes and watches. Many Below Deck fans believe he should become a model for his swanky and photogenic pictures.
Fraser appears to go on a family trip every winter to ski in Aspen, Colorado. After working hard as second stew on Below Deck season 9, Fraser got promoted to chief steward on his next yacht job in Croatia.
Fraser discussed with Below Deck Med alum Chief Stewardess Hannah Ferrier on her podcast the challenges of the yachtie life.
Gay fans interested in dating Fraser are in luck, the 29 year-old is still single.
Fraser also has been spotted partying with other Below Deck stars. He recently partied with Below Deck Med season 7 stars Courtney Veale and Zee Dempers.
After Below Deck season 9 ended, fans wondered if he would be invited back for the following season. Well, there’s pretty strong evidence the British chap with the posh life and accent will be back.
Fraser Returns To Below Deck Season 10 As Chief Stew, Replacing Heather Chase
Fraser fans won’t have to wait much longer to watch the Below Deck star working as a yachtie again. A fan snapped a shot of him and his season 9 co-star Chef Rachel Hargrove filming with new cast members on Below Deck season 10. Fans spotted the pair with a group of new crew members having dinner in Saint Lucia, in the Caribbean, where Below Deck season 10’s charter season took place. According to online chatter, Fraser replaced Chief Stew Heather Chase as the head of interior on the new Below Deck superyacht St David.
It looks like the N-word controversy between Rayna and Heather soured producers on bringing back the Hawaiian blonde.
Although Fraser doesn’t appear to be hard up for cash, his promotion to chief steward on his return to Below Deck should increase his Bravo pay and salary on the show.
Fraser makes history as the first male to take on the job of chief stew in the show’s history. Below Deck season 10 is also historic because Captain Sandy takes over for Captain Lee after health issues arise. Up until now, Captain Lee has steered the superyacht every season of the original series. We’ll have to wait and see how Captain Sandy and Fraser get along.
