Netflix’s The Ultimatum star Madlyn Ballatori gave birth to a healthy baby girl with her husband Colby Kissinger by her side at the hospital on Wednesday, May 2, 2022. They named their daughter Josie and she was eight pounds, eight ounces at time of birth, according to E!.
Madlyn shared a selfie of herself and Colby laying in a hospital bed resting after the delivery. The Instagram story contained a caption announcing the birth of their baby daughter.
“UPDATE: BABY GIRL IS HEALTHY AND PERFECT AND WE WILL BE BRINGING HER HOME TOMORROW,” reads part of the message on Madlyn’s post. “WE’VE BEEN SNUGGLING IN THE HOSPITAL BED TRYING TO REST AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND REFLECT ON THIS INCREDIBLE GIFT. STAY TUNED AND WE WILL BE SHARING MORE SOON.”
Madlyn previously suggested the due date was May 4, but Josie Kissinger came a couple days early. Colby and Madlyn’s daughter was born 7:25 AM, according to E! News. She was born in a hospital in Houston, Texas.

Colby and Madlyn have shared a lot of pictures with one another after their engagement and marriage, and including throughout Madlyn’s pregnancy.
Once they return home it’s more than likely Madlyn will share pictures of their newborn daughter with The Ultimatum fans.
Madlyn is planning a baby shower with friends and family on May 10. Apparently after all of the trash talking Madlyn’s friends did on the show about Colby, they’ve since make amends and all get along.
She also had to set the record straight about when she got pregnant. Fans were claiming Madlyn and Colby got pregnant during filming, but she recently went over the pregnancy timeline on Instagram to prove it happened after filming and she became pregnant three months after the show filmed.
On Saturday Madlyn and Colby shared their first baby pictures with Josie on Instagram. Madlyn had to have a C-section because the baby was breech. Madlyn and Colby are also planning to have a formal wedding with family and friends, unlike their impromptu elopement on the show.
Colby and Madlyn already have the nursery all setup for Josie and they’ve now returned home from the hospital.
All of their fellow The Ultimatum cast members have congratulated them on their new baby, with April Melohn first reaching out.
