BDSY: What Happened To Lucy After Season 4

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 stewardess Lucy Edmunds had a rough start to her charter season. The bubbly and beautiful Welsh reality TV star got too drunk on a crew night out and fell from her top bunk in her cabin, giving her a major cut down her entire back. To top things off, deckhand Chase Lemacks got too drunk and inappropriately hit on her, asking to do a shot from her chest. However, after that, Lucy’s time on season 4 went well right up until the final charter. Throuple charter guests left a pigsty in their cabin — including an unflushed toilet and vomit in the sink — which almost caused her to jump overboard from Parsifal III, qitting early. So, what happened to Lucy after BDSY season 4?

Although scenes on the show didn’t include Lucy in any boatmances, some fans suspect she and co-star Alex Propson lowkey dated. However that theory doesn’t hold much water once he and stewardess Mads Herrera made out on the last crew night out. It’s more likely Lucy heeded the sound advice, “Don’t screw the crew.” However, Lucy, Mads and Alex are now jokingly promoting the notion they were a throuple.

Apparently Lucy and Alex were closer on set than what editors revealed on the show (Instagram).

Instead, Lucy focused on doing a superb job and fretted about passing her college exams. Thankfully midway through the charter season she got the news she would graduate in Sports Management, but didn’t get top honors.

Lucy ended the charter season on a high note, remarking that the all-female interior crew, including her, Mads, Chef Ileisha Dell and Chief Stewardess Daisy Kelliher, proved women can empower one another.

Lucy returned home to Cardiff, Wales, right after filming BDSY season 4 for six weeks, in order to celebrate her birthday weekend and catch up with friends and family. She also reunited with her best friend, her dad.

After catching up with friends and family, Lucy vacationed in Calpe, Spain, a stunning coastal beach town. She then returned home to party with friends and attend her graduation with family. She then took a trip to LA at the end of November meeting up with fellow BDSY castmates Mads, Alex, Chef Ileisha, and Daisy. They also went to BDSY season 3’s Chef Marcos Spaziani’s LA restaurant.

In February 2023, Lucy landed a job as the social media marketing manager for startup SafeSip. However, it appears Lucy is taking her beauty and athletic influencer career more seriously. She signed with talent agency Regan Talent Group. Lucy’s Instagram currently boasts over 48,000 followers and her TikTok has over 11,000 fans. She’s also big into hitting the gym and training as a cyclist.

Lucy Edmunds Doesn’t Return As Part of BDSY Season 5 Cast

At the start of June, Lucy hung out in London with other UK Below Deck alum. Below Deck season 10 stars Fraser Olender and Hayley De Sola Pinto, as well as Daisy all hung out with Lucy at a bar. In the middle of the month she filmed the two-part-BDSY season 4 reunion episodes virtually with the rest of the crew.

In late June, Lucy toured Greece and then again ended up in Calpe, Spain, in July. She’s still vacationing as of writing. She’s only a short three-hour ferry ride from Ibiza, where the BDSY season 5 cast are currently filming the latest season. Sadly it doesn’t look like Lucy will be on BDSY season 5, unless she replaces a stewardess who quits or is fired.
