Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Chef Ileisha: Everything To Know

Chef Ileisha Josephine Dell made quite the first impression on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 viewers. Despite the first group of charter guests being stuck at the dock due to superyacht Parsifal III’s engine troubles, Chef Ileisha knocked it out of the park when it came to the meals she served. She saved the BDSY crew from a disastrously low tip. She served them canapes, fresh oysters with a can sav vinaigrette, lobster and shrimp ravioli, tomato puree sauce with asparagus and shaved parmesan cheese, and beef filet with roasted garlic puree. Let’s get to know more about Below Deck Sailing Yacht‘s Chef Ileisha, the culinary master from season 4.

In pursuit a professional career working in cuisine, Ileisha moved to Sydney, where she worked in five-star restaurants. The Australian said on the first episode of BDSY season 4 she just reconnected with her ex boyfriend after four years apart,  “Well I’ve been single for like four years. And then like a couple weeks ago my ex boyfriend came back from England and we’ve kind of rekindled.” It turns out her boyfriend was a bloke named Lloyd Jones, who appears to have deleted his Instagram account. Dell still has lots of old pictures of the couple together. They broke up in the middle of 2018 when Lloyd decided to move to the UK for four years. It’s unclear if Ileisha and her ex boyfriend Lloyd are officially together again when she was starring on BDSY season 4, or if she was available for a boatmance. There aren’t any recent pictures of Ileisha with her ex boyfriend.

Meanwhile, she took a road trip to Joshua Tree, California, with co-star hunky deckhands Alex Propson and Chase Lemacks, alongside stewardess Mads Herrera. Ileisha’s Instagram shows she’s age 33, celebrating her birthday on May 13, which makes her zodiac sign Taurus, which explains her sensual, stubborn artistic nature. Chef Ileisha will soon turn 34 yeras-old.

“I think my perfectionism definitely comes from working in the fine dining restaurants. Imagine that you spend all day making these beautiful dishes and if they’re not perfect you have to throw them out and start all over again. Doing that, day after day, year after year, it becomes your nature to want it to be perfect.”

Chef Dell definitely showed off her culinary prowess and some of her best food while working on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4.

The second night of the first group of charter guests Chef Ileisha cooked them a cucumber gazpacho with olive oil pears, tuna taco with parmesan crust with a honey mustard sauce, rib-eye with grilled prawns and truffle butter.

For dinner with the crew and the charter guests dining together, Chef Ileisha cooked for fourteen, making homemade pasta with mussels as well as asparagus with snapper, vegan lasagna and more.
