BB 25: What Happened To Hisam After His Eviction

Despite his skills at winning competition battles, Big Brother 25‘s Hisam Goueli had trouble winning the war. Falling victim to Cirie Fields, Izzy Gleicher and Felicia Cannon’s backdoor strategy, he was blindsided and eliminated in Week 4. This made him the third houseguest to be eliminated for the season. Unlike Reilly Smedley, who was eliminated but enjoys considerable support post-show, Hisam was disliked for his aggressiveness. He made a great villain, though. So, what Happened To Big Brother 25’s Hisam after his eviction?

It’s a little hard to tell how Hisam is doing from social media because Hisam’s Instagram is private, but he lets fans follow his account since he has over 7,000 followers. Honestly with the amount of people Hisam rubbed the wrong way, this strategy makes sense. Other villains are emerging like Cameron Hardin, with his creepy behavior, so Hisam might not have to wait long to emerge again.

Hisam shared in Instagram he’s happily spending time with friends back in Seattle after being cooped in the BB 25 house for nearly a month. He’s also thankful to have heavier weights again to do a more serious workout and eating healthy food again.

He also posted a fan’s video of him with the caption: “Although it was sad to leave the house, I appreciate all the love and support that I have received over the past week. This little video clip was made for me and I can’t thank them enough for taking the time to do it.”

Hisam is also spending time with his mystery boyfriend and loyal Golden Retriever dog, Queen Evita, and finishing a cross stitch project while he watches new episodes of BB 25. The proudly gay Muslim man is also promoting LGBT businesses.

True to form, Hisam doesn’t take a lot of responsibility for his elimination. In an Entertainment Weekly interview, he claims to be devastated which implies he never saw it coming. He also claims, “I think the truth of the matter is they were looking for a reason to evict me.” While he acknowledges that he went too far in his HOH speech in bashing Reilly, he also thinks he could have been redeemed. “There was a lot of hope that potentially the house would flip. And I thought it would be a wonderful redemption story.”

In his exit interview with Julie Chen Moonves, he talks about giving up his veto, which might have saved him. His answer is something to behold. “The person who backdoored me is Felicia. I’m a geriatric psychiatrist, I’m passionate about older adults. I want to demonstrate that they can live up to their full potential.” Recall that Felicia is 63, but that part of her strategy was not revealing her age. He also talks about being completely honest, which overlooks the fact that he blamed America Lopez for lying about a conversation they had. Even so, Julie talked about how he was a lot more likeable in the exit interview than he was in the house.

One person who Hisam won’t be getting along with on the outside is the calculating Cory Wurtenburger. He actually has publicly bashed Cory for being dishonest in the house. He claims that Cory tried to work with him early on but the energy shifted. “And then I found out that he was obviously in an alliance that did not include me,” Hisam said, referring to the Handful alliance, which Cory was affiliated with. However, his preferred candidate to win the competition is Mecole Hayes. She was part of his Professors alliance and wasn’t part of the backdoor plot. “I love Meme quite a bit and I would be thrilled if she was the season 25 winner,” he says. Hisam will have a lot more to say as the weeks go on, and we’ll keep watching for it.
