Big Brother season 25 houseguest Cory Wurtenberger failed to display his strength in the first competition when he got dragged away by a ghoulish hand and would enter the house later than everyone else. Fans watching the livestreams are hopeful the first HOH will save Cory off the block. Let’s find out more about who is BB 25 houseguest Cory Wurtenberger and how he compare to the other sixteen houseguests.
“I am a public speaking wiz. I am a 17-time national champion and I’ve become known to be the best persuasive speaker to have ever graced this nation,” Cory said in his introduction on the premier. “All Big Brother is is the same question over and over again. Can you speak persuasively. It’s what I do, and it’s what I’m most excited about going into the house.”

Cory is a student at Vanderbilt University studying political science and communications. He aspires to go to law school and become a “big time lawyer”.
Cory’s hometown is Weston Florida and still lives there. Interestingly, co-star Luke Valentine‘s hometown is Weston, population 68,000, too.
Cory’s birthday is Sept. 29, which makes his zodiac sign Libra. His birth sign explains his hard work towards creating balance in his life between academics and sports.
“I’m a lot more physical than I look. I was a first degree black belt. Third in the state in form, second in the state for weapons. Ultimately I think I’m better suited to the Big Brother competition than a lot of these 6’7″ power lifters.”
“Why Big Brother? Because I am a superfan of the show. It is what I do. I feel like lying is a necessary evil in the Big Brother house. At the end of the day you’re not going to get far in this game if you have your moral codes [too high]. I’ve been a fan of this show for so long. I’m not going to come in and just sit around.”
Cory’s Instagram reveals he’s a big Survivor fan, too.
BB 25 Houseguest Cory Wurtenberger: Gameplay Strategy
“I’m going to try and lower my threat level as much as I can. That being said, [I’ll] try and win the first HOH, if it doesn’t happen I’m entering full, ‘I’m a child. Help. Lead me. What do I do? Where do I go? I don’t know how to do laundry. Do you know how to fold a shirt?” Cory said in his first impression interview.
