Dre Woodard could have gone the distance with Linzy Luu and she was legitimately interested. Fans sincerely wanted to know, are Dre and Linzy still together after Too Hot To Handle season 5? He had the audience on his side after trying to enforce the law and save the dwindling prize money pot. But then Dre became a conflicted cop and wouldn’t open up to Linzy, upsetting her and giving her the dreaded ick. It looked like Dre was going to have to turn in his badge for good until the fateful workshop where he learned to be honest about being vulnerable. As we said in our article about the relationship status of all couples now, he ended things mutually and respectfully with Linzy. You would have thought that took him out of the running for the prize money.
But then Lana (or more properly the show’s producers) realized that the season’s couples had less than comfortable odds. The cone of shame shifted the rules to favor those who grew emotionally. And while Dre was never going to be first in Linzy’s heart, he did charm enough people with his openness. His tearful reading of vows was one of the few truly emotional moments of the series. He didn’t win, but he did get half the prize money thanks to golden girl Elys Hutchinson‘s generosity. In many ways, Dre is the true winner of Too Hot To Handle Season 5.

Dre arrived in New York City just in time to see himself up on the billboard in Times Square. It seems like anyone who was going by would have gotten a clue that he made it to the end. You can see him up on the main screen in the background. Dre and Trey Rogers met up for a shot on location, and Dre’s comments are filled with friendly comments from everyone.
Dre’s Instagram makes it pretty clear he’s single and enjoying his new-found fame, clout, and money. Sadly, neither Dre nor Linzy are near the top of the cast with the most Instagram followers.

Let’s not forget how Linzy is living her best life. She’s gotten very much into the Barbie movie hype and had a major pink clothing haul with Yazmin Marziali. Her stories show her attending a rooftop event and eating sushi at Nobu with Georgia Hassarati. Then she partied it up with Megan Thomson, Elys and Yazmin at a club in LA.
