With the field narrowing quickly, Physical 100’s Cha Hyun-seung was one of the many high profile contestants eliminated. The dancer with the magnetic good looks ran hard through Quest 4’s Tail of Ourobouros challenge, battling a rib injury. Obviously, this slowed him down and he was the first eliminated. The other competitors were visibly upset and praised him as he ran with one hand clutching his chest. Redditors discovered that he suffered this injury during the deathmatch challenge. This means that he made it through Moving Sand and the ship-dragging challenge with reduced capacity. Being a part of Yun Sung-Bin’s dominant team certainly helped, but Cha Hyun-seung is much more than a pretty boy K-pop back up dancer.

This man of many talents was one of the few eliminated participants to join Shim Euddeum and “MC” Ma Sun-Ho for the Netflix Korea recaps. He’s actually friends with Euddeum in real life and they have collaborated for a friendly ballet dancing YouTube video. He’s charismatic enough that Korean broadcaster MCN has recruited him to be one of their main content generators. Cha Hyun-seung is most famous, and possibly infamous, as trusted backup dancer for Kpop princess Sunmi. Their choreography is so hot that some have speculated that they are romantically involved. Obviously, both parties deny this but nobody is believing them. He’s also known for his role on another Netflix dating/Survivor-inspired show, Single’s Inferno. Wrestling for love, survival challenges, and hot dates at beautifully maintained hotels for successful couples are all part of this game. The 31-year old Cha Hyun-seung was a surprise guest in Season 1. He made it to the Paradise sanctuary with model Song Ji-A, but was ultimately rejected for younger trainer and model Kim Hyeong-joon.
