Below Deck: What Chef Anthony Is Up To In 2024 After S11

Bravo reality TV star Chef Anthony Iracane sadly got fired on Below Deck season 11 after too many mistakes serving charter guests on superyacht St. David. However, Captain Kerry Titheradge felt terrible about letting the sensitive Frenchman go. The Australian yacht captain thought he was a very talented culinary master. However, the season 11 tips started taking a massive hit due to Chef Anthony struggling to keep superyacht standards. His dishes started to lack the previous amazing quality and he was messing up preference sheet requests. So, Titheradge had no choice but to fire him. That said, let’s take a look at what Chef Anthony is up to in 2024.

The entire Below Deck season 11 crew were sad to see Chef Anthony go — well — except maybe Chief Steward Fraser Olender, who basically helped push him off the boat. They all gave him a warm embrace after Captain Kerry reluctantly let him go. The captain couldn’t risk Chef Anthony’s floundering killing the morale of the rest of the crew. Since then, filming back in early 2023 in Grenada, a lot has changed in Chef Anthony’s life.

After Chef Anthony’s departure on Below Deck season 11 aired on Bravo, he posted that he was doing okay and was still working to be the best chef he could be. “It’s not how we fall. It’s how we get back up again,” the chef wrote on his Instagram. “THE LAST WILL BE FIRST.”

Chef Anthony appears to have a second chance to wow Captain Kerry and Below Deck fans. After news broke the Below Deck season 12 crew have been filming in St. Maarten since late April, social media activity suggests Chef Anthony got another crack at finishing an entire season on St. David. Most of the new crew and charter guests for season 12 followed Chef Anthony on Instagram, and he did likewise. None of the returning or new crew followed a new chef, so it looks very likely Chef Anthony is back to prove he deserves to finish out an entire Below Deck charter season.

Chef Anthony went with Captain Kerry and replacement deckhand Dylan De Villiers to Hollywood, Florida, for a watch party with some of the charter guests on season 11. After that, he’s had only one new post promoting Worldwide Boat, a yacht chartering business. All indications point to Chef Anthony currently filming alongside season 11 costars Captain Kerry, deckhands Kyle Stillie and Sunny Marquis, as well as Fraser.

Before that, Chef Anthony returned to work cooking on superyacht I Love This Boat. While not working in the Bahamas on superyachts, Chef Anthony resides in South Florida, cooking in Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami. Chef Anthony runs and operates a food truck business called Snacky Bae, which offers Floridians Parisian sandwiches and desserts.

Sadly (or fortunately for fans who fell in love with the chef), Anthony still appears to be single. He still tries to spend as much time as he can with his pet cat Mister Toons, and to go back to France to see his family. Chef Anthony is quite close to his mom, especially after his dad tragically died of a heart attack three years ago.

Fans will have to wait and see for more news from the French chef in 2024. But he’s landed firmly on his feet since Captain Kerry fired him a year ago.
