We know from the trailer that tehn-27-year-old Kat “Kathryn” Shelton was the one who issued the ultimatum to her partner of two years. A silly costumed pic from October 21, 2021 announced their 1 year anniversary and has a prominent place on Kat’s Instagram. This bodes well for her relationship with Alex, but traveling registered nurse Kat seems to be more into seeing the USA than settling down. Before meeting Alex, she attended USC and joined a sorority there.

Some photos show Alex with a little baby boy, but his mom Jennifer comments that also this is her “grandbaby”, she greets Alex separately. Alex appears to be a fan of the Chicago Blackhawks (suggesting he hails from Illinois originally), running marathons, fishing, mountain climbing and skiing. He enjoys going on road trips, such as a 1,564 mile monster from Charlotte to Denver. Alex can be found off-roading at Rocky Mountain National Park. Kat and Alex love hiking and camping in America’s national parks together. Alex doesn’t seem to make a big deal of his birthday, but his mom turned 50 on April 7, 2019.

Alex and Kat seem like a cute Southern couple, so we’ll be interested to see where the tension is. The two met on dating app Hinge, and made their relationship Instagram official on October 21, 2020. So they were together about two years before going on The Ultimatum season 2. They don’t seem to be in the wilder moments of the trailer or the teaser. Kat’s TikTok shows they like to have a good time partying a bit, too.
