Magic Mark, aka Damian Powers, just recently celebrated his 32nd birthday with warm wishes from his reality show family. Respected for always being there with inspirational words for his Perfect Match bros, Damian remains single. He does continue to feature prominently in pictures with the wild Kariselle Snow, leading to lots of speculation the two are dating. However Kariselle has commented and reassured fans that he is just her platonic Gemini friend. Regardless of whether you believe that or not, Damian is on a much more positive path than he was on Love Is Blind. As we’ll see, he’s not fully out of the woods yet. But he’s a lot more likable as the responsible big brother to guys like Mitchell Eason, Joey Sasso, Dom Gabriel and Shayne Jansen. Let’s learn more about what happened to Damian after Perfect Match.

Damian and Kariselle are sparking rumors the two are a couple after posting lots of pictures together out clubbing and getting close (Instagram).
One person who doesn’t trust Damian is his Love Is Blind ex Giannina Gibelli. Giannina, who is now dating her All Star Shore co-star Blake Horstmann, told all on the infamous LIB podcast, Out of The Pods. She told hosts Deepti Vempati and Natalie Lee that she used to get all sorts of DMs about Damian’s behavior. She’s also still quite upset about Damian’s flirting with the seductive Francesca Farago. It was Damian’s ultimately false reassurances that nothing was going on that upset her the most. “I don’t care how much producers tell you to do something, they can’t edit words into your mouth and also you do everything you want,” Giannina says. “The entire time Damian was reassuring me, ‘There’s nothing going on between us.’ Then a year later, I see the whole thing and I just felt like a [bleep]ing idiot.”
So, how much can we trust Damian’s assurances that he and Kariselle are only platonic? Also, keep in mind that this is Kariselle we are talking about. If Damian has a type, it’s loud, dramatic, and controversial women, which fits Kariselle to a T. Some of his most recent posts show the two quite cozy.

On the other hand, Reddit user FallingFallon noticed that Damian, Kariselle, and Francesca are all affiliated with the same talent agency. This being reality show territory, we must never discount the possibility that all this drama is being manufactured. The agency in question is MN2S International Music and Talent Agency, based out of Miami and London. You can find their respective profiles here, here, and here. They even have the same agent, Sharron Elkabas. Other LIB alumni represented by Ms. Elkabas include Mark Cuervas, Amber Pike, and Matt Barnett. And that’s not all: Elkabas also represents Indian Matchmaking standout Aparna Shewakramani. So while Damian’s friendships may be genuine, he’s probably on the clock when he’s getting photographed with Kariselle. We can also look much more critically about Damian’s whole on-again-off-again situationship with Francesca. No wonder Giannina is so angry. If your whole engagement was a PR stunt, you would likely be too! Still, she agreed to go along with it.
Damian may be a bit sketchy, but at least he’s trying to orient himself in a better direction these days? We sure hope so!
