Sadly fan-favorite Chef Rachel Hargrove quit working with Bravo and Below Deck production after cooking up a storm in Saint Lucia on superyacht St. David for Below Deck season 10. Chef Rachel didn’t start off on the best foot in her first time starring on the show in Below Deck season 8. She got blotto drunk several times and made a fool of herself. And she stormed off the boat and swore at Captain Lee Rosbach from charter guests‘ ridiculous demands. However, Chef Rachel got a second shot and had an amazing redemption arc on Below Deck season 9. She got rave reviews from charter guests and crew alike for her incredible food. She also stayed sober.
On Below Deck season 10, production portrayed Chef Rachel as struggling to deliver food on time to guests. But that may be partly due to a bad edit delivered by production for Chef Rachel bad-mouthing them. Someone also leaked Chef Rachel’s previous arrest and run-ins with the law this fall.

Either way, Chef Rachel appears to be thriving in 2023 since taking a hiatus off social media after fat-shaming Tyra Banks and going scorched earth against the “bullies” at Bravo in the summer of 2022.
Despite Chef Rachel supposedly giving a shaky performance on the job on Below Deck season 10, she’s still working as a professional yacht chef in the Caribbean at the Twin Cays Private Islands in the Bahamas.

The mercurial red-headed yachtie recently posted on Instagram story of her hanging with her new crew members of motor yacht Odessa. She made some good friends on her charter season, including yachties Justin Rogers, Jessica Marie and Ally Meyn. She even recently went wakeboarding for the first time and cliff jumping at the age of 41.

Chef Rachel’s superyacht she worked on can fit up to 12 guests and has a massive hot tub on its sundeck. Odessa is a bit smaller than superyacht St. David, but just as luxurious. Hargrove still hasn’t lost her wicked sense of humor. She recently had a crew member film her behind the walk-in fridge looking like a zombie chef. She’s also still making delectable gourmet food for charter guests. She recently showed off her famous French toast and other delicious dishes.

Hargrove finished the charter season on Odessa at the start of April. She then made a career shift, starting to do standup comedy. She started doing open mic nights at comedy clubs in south Florida. Her material mostly consists of her talking about her previously terrible jobs, including serving food to billionaires as a yacht chef.
She’s about to embark on another charter season, this time on a superyacht up in New England.
Chef Rachel also clarified why she quit Below Deck, and it wasn’t because of her fight with fellow Bravolebrity Austen Kroll (Southern Charm).
“It’s because of the show and production and the dysfunctional [bleep] I told them to shove it,” Chef Rachel said in a Reddit post. “The show is allegedly a reality show… but for me I am an actual yacht chef. There is nothing real or organic about this show. Also breaking the 4th wall with cast is [unacceptable]. The [bleep] that these producers blow so much smoke up your [bleep] and poke and prod to get a response from cast.”
After Chef Rachel initially started trashing the network a representative for Bravo tried to get Chef Rachel to talk to the TV network’s psychiatrist. She screenshotted the communications and continued to bash the network.
Since then, Chef Rachel’s been traveling across the USA and continued to enjoy honing her craft cooking for wealthy clients on land and at sea.
