Love Is Blind season 4 stars Jackelina Bonds and Marshall Glaze sparked a controversy when they broke up and argued over who should keep the engagement ring from the show. Fans almost unanimously sided with Jackie returning the ring to Marshall. Ultimately, Jackie decided to keep it, which shocked viewers because she dumped Marshall for goofball Josh Demas. Fans wondered if Marshall actually bought the wedding ring — not to mention how much Jackie’s ring cost — or if production paid for it. The true answer actually lies with neither buying the rings. Let’s get to the bottom of who buys Love Is Blind rings.
(In one case a contestant, Kyle Abrams from season 2, opted out of the ring arrangement because he wanted to propose to Shaina Hurley with his mother’s ring.)
Who Buys Love Is Blind rings? Men & Production Likely Don’t Pay, Instead Advertising By Jeweler

PopSugar reported a source from Kinetic Content (Love Is Blind‘s production company) claiming they buy the rings for the men planning to propose. “Whatever they choose, we pay for. Whatever we pay for, they keep, regardless of engagement ending.”
Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen also told Newsweek, “If they get to the point that they want to propose, we will ultimately give them [the rings].” The reality TV suitors who get engaged on the show pick engagement rings from a catalogue.
An important distinction between the above quotes is the show’s creator didn’t directly say Kinetic Content buys the rings, but “give them” to the men popping the question.
As far back as at least Love Is Blind season 2, the production company has partnered with Bridal Ring Company, who provides the rings. The Love Is Blind-partnered jeweler business gets a “Special Thanks” mention in the show’s credits. Product placement advertising is a great way for a company to market it’s product, so surely Love Is Blind production made some sort of deal to partner and feature Bridal Ring Company’s engagement rings. The mention in the show credits suggests Bridal Ring Company pays for the rings out of pocket in order to be featured on Netflix program viewed by millions of viewers, many prospective customers.

Whatever the private financial arrangement between Love Is Blind production and the engagement ring jewelry company, it’s a pretty sweet deal for the men proposing, however unromantic it is for their fiancées.
Although Jackie recently claimed “Love Is Blind paid for all the rings,” it’s more likely the production company gets them provided free of charge from the Bridal Ring Company in a product placement advertising deal.
