However, a boatmance couldn’t launch initially because Natalya had a boyfriend. Even though he boyfriend convinced her to be in an open relationship, she still clearly wanted to be in a committed relationship and was trying to stay faithful. Of course once her boyfriend revealed he was with his buddy and five girls one night, Natalya no longer felt the need to stay loyal. On the third night out after flirting the first week working together, the two initiated a physical connection on episode six. Fans will recall the initial trailer shows New Zealander Luka also casually hooking up with Fourth Stewardess Jessika Asai. So, unless Australian Natalya is cool with her new flame being polyamorous like her open-relationship boyfriend AJ, that could put a strain on their relationship later this season. Also, fans should keep in mind no boatmance on the show has ever worked out, thus the likelihood these two are still together in a long-distance relationship is a longshot.

Luka’s Instagram account makes it clear he’s got a girlfriend. He’s dating OnlyFans model Lorena Peach. Although on the show Luka said he just recently got out of a long-term relationship, his social media shows him dating Lorena well before Below Deck Med season 8 filmed in late summer 2022. So, it looks like Luka and Lorena got back together in the end after splitting up right before the charter season. But Luka’s story doesn’t exactly check out when looking back on his appearance on Below Deck Down Under season 2. That season filmed in earlier 2022, and at the time Luka also said he was single. Perhaps Luka’s also in an open relationship? Or did him kissing Jaimee Neale lead to a brief breakup with Lorena?
Meanwhile, Natalya’s Instagram shows no signs of a main man in her life. Instead, she’s enjoying being a Playboy bunny and going to wild parties. Most of her pictures show her enjoying exotic locales with other models and showing off bikinis. The previews for Below Deck Med season 8’s episode 7 and spoilers suggest Natalya either quits or abruptly ends things with Luka. Natalya’s ex boyfriend AJ appears to have had her heart throughout the season.

Luka, now age 26 after just celebrating his birthday on Halloween, makes him the same age as Natalya, but she typically dates guys older than her. Although Natalya and Luka didn’t end up together, fans can’t wait to see how things unfolded in their relationship. Perhaps Below Deck Med season 8, unlike Below Deck Down Under season 2, will have a reunion where we can get some answers.
