Netflix’s The Ultimatum: Queer Love reunion had enough ridiculous revelations without an audio description voiceover revealing an earlier edit stated Lexi Goldberg suspected Rae Cheung-Sutton was cheating one her for why they broke up and called off the wedding. A blind viewer allegedly caught bombshell leaked audio while watching and listening to the reunion episode with audio description that said Lexi suspected Rae cheated on her.
At the end when the note about Lexi and Rae’s breakup shows up before the end credits of the reunion episode, and the audio description of woman’s voice said, “Shortly after filming the reunion, Lexi suspected that Rae was cheating on her. They called off the wedding.” However, the text note doesn’t match the audio, which still states the two decided to “end their relationship.”
TikTok user @skullncajons released an initial video in the early morning of Wednesday, June 7, the day The Ultimatum: Queer Love‘s finale and reunion episodes dropped.

Some fans were skeptical and claimed the initial video was edited, so the blind viewer posted another even more convincing TikTok video of the audio description edit snafu.

Other fans checked it out for themselves and verified it too. However, later in the evening, the audio description matched the text, and the earlier edit was ironed out of the official reunion episode. This is yet another example of where The Ultimatum is scripted and staged reality TV.
Lexi Couldn’t Get Over Rae Hooking Up With Vanessa On Show
After the initial trial marriages were over, Lexi continuously was jealous of Rae fooling around with her trial marriage partner Vanessa Papa. She repeatedly got upset for Rae even so much as looking and acknowledging Vanessa in a group setting. Lexi even discussed the supposed break in trust with her parents in front of Rae.
For Rae’s part, she continually beat herself up for what happened. Lexi never really truly forgave her from what was shown on camera. Despite the major trust issues Lexi was having, the two proposed to each other and got engaged. When The Ultimatum: Queer Love‘s reunion filmed in early 2023, the two were still together. That means the couple lasted engaged a little over another year after filming the show together in the fall of 2021.
“[Rae’s] just not the right person for what I want [in a partner],” Lexi told Netflix’s Tudum. “There’s absolutely love there. There was a friendship there. There was respect there, and I will always maintain that. There’s no bad blood, and I want nothing but the best for her. It’s sad and bittersweet that she’s like a distant cousin right now, but I hope there’s a way to become friends at some point.”
“We were good at the reunion, and then afterwards we were still rehashing things. [Lexi] started a new career and her lifestyle really changed and we were having trouble navigating that and things from the past,” Rae told Netflix. “It just kind of just got to a point where we couldn’t come to terms on certain differences.”
Rae and Lexi both agreed with each other not to go into details about their breakup. Fans will have to wait and see if the two keep their word or if we’ll find out more about the alleged suspicion of cheating.
