The Ultimatum: Queer Love‘s Vanessa Papa took very little time to become season 1’s arch villain. A few episodes in and viewers were floored at how little she cared about marriage or committed relationships. On top of that, she showed a self-centeredness in thinking her partner Xander Boger could only be attracted to her. She claimed Xander would otherwise be asexual. Then when Lexi called her out on her selfishness and apparently ill intentions on the show, she became incredibly defensive and chased after Lexi’s partner, Raelyn. With The Ultimatum: Queer Love only four episodes in, fans want to know more about villainous reality TV star Vanessa. She certain beats any villain from the original The Ultimatum.
After the paired up with beautiful Rae, she took joy in hurting Lexi by hooking up with her ex. She even admitted she doesn’t even see herself with Rae, leaving viewers to believe she used her to get revenge on Lexi calling out her shallowness and ill intentions.
Before the show, Vanessa Papa grew up in the Garden State. While going to high school in New Jersey, Vanessa and Xander’s boyfriends were best friends. After both coming out as lesbian, the two reconnected and dated for four years before filming the show in September to November 2022 after Xander gave her an ultimatum to get married and have kids or move on.
The Ultimatum: Queer Love‘s Vanessa’s Influencer Job, Age, Birthday, Zodiac Sign, Instagram & TikTok

Judging by Vanessa’s Instagram, the Hawaiian-based couple parted ways. Before the show, Netfllix’s Tudum claimed the couple “have never spent more than three days apart.” Â Vanessa solo backpack traveled in Italy and Portugal, Turkey, Ireland and other countries in Europe in the spring of 2022 for six weeks after her likely breakup with Xander. She’s also alluded to being single and moved from Hawaii to LA.
Fans also wonder how Vanessa claims she’s an Instagram influencer. She only had 2,000 followers a few days after The Ultimatum: Queer Love released. On the show, Vanessa bragged about getting paid for social media sponsorship deals for posting poetry. However, Vanessa did have another Instagram account with the handle @ventureswithvanessa, which she deleted in July 2022 to “get a fresh start.” This was most likely her influencer account, but it’s odd she would delete it if it had a huge following.

Vanessa recently referencing the stereotype on the show that lesbians move into each other’s places using U-Haul, suggesting she may be in a new relationship (Instagram).
Vanessa also told fans she was making fun of herself when she mentioned being an influencer. “I was making fun of myself for being an influencer when I talked about it on the show,” she said in her Instagram comments.

Vanessa’s TikTok is a lot more popular, with 25,000 followers. But still, hardly that impressive, nor enough to quit one’s day job. This and other inconsistencies made fans wonder if The Ultimatum: Queer Love is scripted and fake in part. We don’t know Vanessa’s job since she doesn’t have a public LinkedIn, but she appears to be an aspiring actress.

Vanessa’s birthday is August 27, shockingly making her zodiac sign Virgo. A Virgo’s personality is supposed to be logical and practical, something Vanessa hasn’t exhibited on the show. However, her striving to find perfection in relationships does make sense as a Virgo. Although age 30 on the show, Vanessa turned 31 since the show filmed. She will turn 32 in August 2023.

The Ultimatum: Queer Love‘s Vanessa Talks About Coming Out As Lesbian

Vanessa turned off Instagram comments for fans of the show after beginning to get attacked a bunch online (Instagram).
Vanessa previously talked about coming out as lesbian, and difficult journey she had to take.
“I started coming out to myself at 16. It took me 9 more years and my first serious queer relationship to get the confidence and pride to come out to everyone else,” wrote on a social media post.
“When you’re in the process of coming out, most of the time, you have no one to talk to or confide in. It’s such an internal process that can feel so lonely. I went through a very long coming out process that mainly consisted of me fighting off my own beliefs that being gay was wrong. Over the years, I felt so alone and lost, but I smiled through it so no one ever knew I was struggling.”

Despite the trials and tribulations she says she’s thriving now. “But here I am today – out, proud and incredibly happy.”
Vanessa has also posted a few pics with ladies who she may be dating now. We’ll have to wait for The Ultimatum: Queer Love to end before we find out if Vanessa is single or in another relationship. Also, did she end up with Rae?

Meanwhile, The Ultimatum: Queer Love fans are blasting Vanessa as a classic narcissist.
“Honestly all this material you’ve given the public is great, it can be shown in my psych classes when studying narcissists! You’re textbook babe,” said one viewer on TikTok.
“How does it feel to be called Voldemort?” another asked sarcastically.

So far Vanessa hasn’t directly responded to the deluge of disgust with her actions. Instead she’s joked about going to therapy and ignored the online backlash.
