The Ultimatum: Queer Love‘s Rae (Raelyn) Cheung-Sutton struggled to have her voice heard while on a reality TV show she didn’t want to be on. Raelyn’s girlfriend Lexi Goldberg pushed her into agreeing to be on the lesbian Netflix show. Perhaps she picked Lexi’s nemesis Vanessa Papa as her trial marriage partner to get back at her ex. Throughout the season, it became pretty obvious Rae wasn’t dealing well with being filmed all the time. Let’s find out more about quiet and shy Rae from The Ultimatum: Queer Love.

Rae’s beautiful looks had many fans wondering what her background is. Rae is half Chinese and half white American. “I am half-Chinese, and then half white, which is a mixture of French, Irish, and English. My mom grew up in Singapore and moved here for college. So I grew up going there almost every year,” she said in her Instagram stories.
Her ethnicity is half white American, from her dad’s side, and half Korean, from her mom’s side. She also has a sister.
Rae was age 27 on the show, but she’s now 28. She celebrates her birthday on July 13, which makes her a shy, nurturing and loyal Cancer. Rae’s also an avid traveler, going to countries like Singapore, Cambodia, Spain, Italy, and France.

Is Rae Single After The Ultimatum: Queer Love?
Rae explained her ugly drunken night where she was talking to Vanessa some more on Instagram. She accidentally got blackout drunk.

Rae’s comments since the show suggest she’s currently in a relationship since the show. “…I am ultimately a better partner and person for it,” Rae said to fans on Instagram. That said, who her partner is remains a mystery. Both Vanessa and Lexi live in LA, so she could be dating either of her girlfriends from the show. Lexi pushing Rae to go on the show seems to have severely hurt their relationship while on the show.

“I had said no a number of times but Lexi was persistent and really wanted to do the experience. I ultimately said ok and leaned in the discomfort so long as she did all the legwork in the casting process. The emotional overload mixed with short processing time was really difficult. I was pulling up to dates crying, going to therapy twice a week, and just doing my best,” Rae said to fans.

“This experience took an immeasurable amount of vulnerability and courage so please be kind to my friends as we were all just doing our very best! I hope our journeys can provide some representation for our communities, a small glimpse of the highs and lows we all share in finding love, and if nothing else some enjoyment or second hand embarrassment of our hot mess of an experience!!” Rae told fans on Instagram.
