All Below Deck Adventure Charter Guests & Tips From Season 1

All Below Deck Adventure Charter Guests & Tips From Season 1

The colder weather in Norway apparently chilled out the charter gusts on Below Deck Adventure season 1. None of superyacht Mercury‘s guests were nearly as demanding and rude as Below Deck Sailing Yacht‘s Erica Rose or Below Deck season 10‘s Indian-American charter guests. They certainly weren’t as stingy with their money as in previous charter seasons, either. The crew has made a total of $131,965 in the seven charters aired on the show. Of course all that tip money needs to be divided amongst the workers, even hidden crew members not in front of the camera. Here are all Below Deck Adventure charter guests and how much tip money each group gave Captain Kerry Titheradge‘s crew. We’ll also tabulate how much each crew member made on the show.

The group drove Chef Jess angry, making her wait almost two hours until 9:50 PM to start the first dinner. It looks like Jess may even quit early on the last charter.

This group of charter guests like to party. They filled water pistols with tequila.

“They expect high-class thrill-seeking adventures with a couture backdrop” read this group’s preference sheet.

Carol expects two of the stews to model the dresses while they dine in a cave for an underground picnic.

With the girls being an hour and forty-give minutes late for dinner, at least they tipped well on the Below Deck Adventure season 1 finale. Carol’s gang gave the crew 170,800 Norwegian Krone or $20,000 in tip money. Each crew member made $1,666 in their split of the booty.

Carol and the rest of these charter guests recently partied on now-Captain Seth Jacobson’s yacht along with the rest of the deckhands from the show in Miami. Captain Kerry also joined them for a night out and a watch party.

Primary Arianna Smith has her own luxury hair extension company based in Smyrna, Georgia. She came on the show for a one-night charter with a group of college friends, including Cam Gamble, Terrell Banks, Maiah Martin, Lauren Langhorne, Nichole Knighton, Kyera and Ciara. The group enjoyed horseback riding in the stunning Sunnmore Alps, Norway.

Although unimpressed without having any lunch off the boat after Chef Jess Condy refused to prepare food, these charter guests still gave a very generous tip of $15,000! And they only stayed on the superyacht for one night.

Charter Guests Shelby & Jody’s Group Gave A $16,165

Engaged Coloradan couple Shelby and Jodie Turner‘s group of charter guests enjoyed the hot tub and five-star meals Jess whipped up. Shelby and Jodie were accompanied by their good friends Michael Buckley, Stacey Koehler, Lisa Lefkowitz, Hannah Marsh, “Colorado” Katie, and Mary Lou McMenamy. The gang took a helicopter up a mountain that they then rappelled down. Despite two hairs found in the food, which started a feud between Jess and Chief Stewardess Faye Clarke, the group had a great time.

However two hairs in the food for the same meal might’ve left a bit of a bad taste in the charter guests’ mouths. They gave 139,800 Norwegian Krone or $16,165 in tip money. Each crew member made $1,347 in tip money on this voyage, on top of Bravo and salary pay.

Charter Guests Mike & Stefanie Nye’s Group Gave $20,800 Tip

Married co-primary charter guests and entrepreneurs Mike and Stefanie Nye enjoyed paragliding off a mountain in Norway. They also competed against the Below Deck Adventure crew on an obstacle course, including a giant inflatable iceberg. The couple from Lake Oswego, Oregon, live with their two young kids. Mike Nye works in commercial real estate, representing tenants (businesses) renting office space. This was the first charter deckhand Seth Jacobson joined the crew.

Mike, Stefanie and their friends gave a large $20,800 tip or $1,767 per Mercury crew member.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Heather Gay’s Group Of Charter Guests Gave A $25,000 Tip

Bravolebrity Heather Gay sailed the Norwegian seas with her friends Shane Welch, Janette Brummett, Meggan Pingree, Laura Armstrong, Carl Coward (a Norwegian) and Angela (Angie) Harrington, and her husband Chris Harrington. The group were rather tame compared to an episode of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City when it came to the drama department. Heather Gay and friends went ziplining while on the yachting trip. They enjoyed talking stew Kasie Faddah about breaking away from Mormonism. They also teased deckhands Nathan Morley and Michael Gilman by asking them which of the single charter guests they were attracted to.

Heather and friends gave the crew 250,330 Norwegian Krone or a $25,000 tip, which equals to $2,083 per person, according to show producers. It’s unlikely Heather and the gang had to pay the standard $40,000 fee to charter a Below Deck yacht. It looks like Bravo had her on Mercury to help cross-promote two of the network’s shows airing on Tuesday nights.

Divorced Primary Charter Guests Lauran & Christy Gave A $15,000 Tip

The “holy” all-female (minus one lady’s son) charter included some thirsty women hitting on the male crew members. Recently divorced ladies Lauran Harris and Christy Ballard brought along Lauran’s mom Lillian Hoopaugh and their friends. When the ladies weren’t borderline sexually harassing the male crew, they went bike riding down troll road.

Even with the guys being good sports, Lauran, Christy and the other ladies only tipped $15,000 or $1,364 for each crew member.

Charter Guests Rick, Sarah & Oriana’s Now-Boyfriend John Gave Crew A $20,000 Tip

Stew Oriana Schneps‘s now-boyfriend and restauranteur John Dampeer and his fellow San Francisco-based friends Rick and Sarah Leonetti, Tiana Francisco, Kevin Stinger and others enjoyed a booze-heavy trip aboard Mercury. The group drank like fish and had fun with the crew. They also went exploring in caves.

Despite their fun time yachting, John told Captain Kerry about deckhand Kyle Dickard‘s inappropriate behavior hitting on Kasie. At the end of the charter Kyle threatened Nathan with violence and was fired off the boat. Later, while the season was still airing, Kyle became the 12th Below Deck cast member arrested throughout the franchise when he jumped shirtless on a soccer field during a professional match’s gameplay.

Co-primary charter guests Rick and Sarah, along with their friends, gave the crew a $20,000 tip or $1,667 per person.
