Big Brother 25‘s showmance between Cory Wurtenberger and America Lopez surprised the other houseguests and fans because it seemed to come out of left field. Americory started off as a cute friendship that slowly turned into a full-blown romance. Cory, still in college, was shy and bashful at first, and repeatedly made it clear he’d never been in a serious relationship. That didn’t deter America, who found the brainy debate champion adorable. So, are Cory and America still together after Big Brother 25?
Update: Cory’s brother Zach Wurtenberger, who competed in Survivor, recently told fans that he thinks Cory and America “are going to be good” and that he’s never seeen Cory happier.

On Saturday night, the third night out since the game officially ended, Cory and America were sitting next to each other while eating at restaurant with the rest of the BB 25 cast.

After many late night cuddle sessions, talking for hours over three months, and kissing lessons, the two formed a very strong bond in the house. They spent a couple weeks in the jury house together, and further built their connection without cameras monitoring them 24/7.
America and Cory appeared very close while they spent time in the Big Brother Jury House together (Instagram).
Now America reactivated her Instagram account, and she posted a photo of Cory and her passing the “green line test”. The theory that blew up on the internet suggests that men lean in towards their woman are insecure and the relationship is doomed.

Are Cory And America Still Together After Big Brother 25

Since the finale aired, Cory and America went to a BB 25 after-party with all of the other season’s contestant (minus Bowie Jane) where they were together throughout the night. The following night Cory posted a photo of him and America alongside Big Brother 24 winner Taylor Hale and her ex boyfriend (and former-co-star) Joseph Abdin. So, Cormerica is still going strong a couple days in the real world, but time will tell.

Cory and America looked tied to the hip while at the after-party with co-stars (Instagram).
“America, we have spent three months together in this house but it feels like it’s been years. And it still hasn’t been enough. It’s been the privilege of my life to be able to share this opportunity with someone I care about so much,” Cory said in a DR confessional aired in the second last episode of BB 25.
They told each other they love each other, too, when their time together in the house was coming to an end.
“We said ‘I love you,’ which is super cute. We’re going to go strong after this. I have no doubt in my mind that Cory and I can last. We can make this work,” America gushed.
In Cory’s exit interview with Julie Chen-Moonves, he opened up about his hopes for the future with America. America’s exit interview with Julie also made it sound like she was very happy to continue dating him.
“Of course! I’m so excited! It’s kind of iconic, me and him in the jury house together… Um, marriage! No, I’m kidding. Umm [laughs and giggles]… No, I’m just excited to continue where we left off…” she told Julie.
In the jury house, Cory dressed up as a baby and America, age 25, dressed up as a robber, suggesting she’s a “cradle robber”.
Fans will have to wait and see if Cory and America can make their showmance work as a relationship in the real world. America is currently based in Brooklyn, New York, while Cory and his family live in Florida. Will they move to live with each other or start a long-distance relationship? Only time will tell, we’ll have to wait and see.
But Cory is excited for the future.
“Leaving the Big Brother house is its own nightmare crucible [with] social media and all of this attention for at least a few months before you fade back into anonymity,” he said. “And going through that with [America] is going to be really helpful, I think, to both of us,” Cory told US Weekly back in October after his elimination.
