Yoly Rojas and Mal Wright surprisingly got engaged in the season finale of The Ultimatum: Queer Love. Yoly had a torrid romance with her trial marriage partner Xander Boger for three weeks before she was reunited with her ex Mal. Meanwhile, Mal had a strong platonic connection with her trial partner, Lexi Goldberg. Upon reuniting, Mal felt they had grown more mature and were ready to jump into committed, married partnership with Yoly and have kids. However, Yoly still had Xander on her mind. The two texted each other while back with their exes. In the end, Yoly reluctantly said yes to Mal’s proposal, but still kissed Xander — according to an interview with Today — hours later when they asked her to start a relationship together. So what happened to Yoly and Mal after The Ultimatum: Queer Love?
During the reunion, the two made it clear they were “happily broken up” shortly after the show wrapped up filming. On the reunion, filmed in early 2023, Yoly said, “My fear was as soon as the cameras stopped filming, Mal was going to go back to our ways that I know of. So that happened. We spent some time apart. And in that time apart, she was like ‘this is not going to work out.'”
Mal called out Yoly’s “dishonest” and “hella disrespectful” behavior on the show where she led them on that she only wanted to be with Mal. After reflection, Yoly felt “like a dangerous stranger” to Mal.
One things for sure, Yoly’s taking a ton of heat from fans for doing Mal dirty and also breaking up another couple.

Yoly’s Instagram also shows her enjoying the limelight. She hosted a watch party again at a local bar on Wednesday, June 8, to celebrate the last two episodes of The Ultimatum: Queer Love. She’s also solo traveling, cooking and working out regularly.
