Alissa Tells Below Deck Fans To Stop Attacking Camille & Her

After accusing Below Deck season 10 deck-stew Camille Lamb of “racist” behavior on the show, Second Stew Alissa Humber is now defending her reality TV nemesis.

Viewers and Lead Deckhand Ben Willoughby accused Alissa of gaslighting and bullying Camille on superyacht St. David. However, at first fans only thought Camille’s own laziness was to blame for her firing. But once the blonde songstress left the boat, Alissa’s power trip continued. She talked trash behind Stew Hayley De Sola Pinto’s back after condescendingly barking orders at the British redhead. She also continued to break girl code by shamelessly hitting on creepy 38-year-old Bosun Ross McHarg, knowing Deckhand Katie Glaser was starting a relationship with the womanizer.

Now Alissa’s facing more of the same heat from passionate (perhaps unhealthily obsessed) fans attacking her on social media like they did to Camille.

Alissa posted an Instagram story after Below Deck season 10’s episode 10 chastising fans for the “hate” for her and Camille online.

“I just wanted to say ‘hey’ to everyone. And I’ve been seeing a lot of love in my comments, a lot of hate in my comments. Chill out,” she said in the video. “Have a good day like everyone. The Below Deck thing happened like a year ago. I’ve talked to Camille. She’s talked to me. We’ve probably all talked with the crew that we still want to keep in touch with. And yeah, we’re all vibing and it’s just like seeing hate for her, hate for me, it’s kind of unnecessary. We’re all over it, and I hope that you do get over that too.”

It appears Alissa curated her Instagram comments to only keep the positive ones. Meanwhile, fans are letting her have it on Twitter and Reddit.

“Alissa has a lot of nerve saying that if she were Camille she would be too embarrassed to join the crew for dinner especially after being fired,” said one fan on episode 10’s Reddit thread. “Yet Alissa is messing around with Ross knowing how Katie feels about him. Classic case of ‘I can get and take away any man I want’. Alissa is your typical bully and backstabber.”

Bravo shows like Below Deck are heavily scripted. Show production likely encouraged Alissa to act badly on the job.

Fans suspect Alissa gets fired too because another replacement stewardess named Leigh-Ann Smith eventually joins the crew. A future episode’s description suggests Alissa gets fired.
