Katie grew up outside Cincinnati, Ohio, in the woods in a rural setting. She eventually moved to Colorado, and in the past few years moved to Florida. She now lives in Miami, Florida, where she loves boating and wearing bikinis, according to Katie’s Instagram.
Katie studied at the University of South Carolina before working as a bartender, corporate fields like IT recruiting, account management, stewardess, deckhand and first officer. She now has a job as a yacht broker, too, selling big boats worth millions! She’s the CEO of Yacht Parties Miami, which sets up boat parties. Katie also runs Lower Latitudes Yacht Charters, another company she founded. She’s also an operating partner for Southern Yacht Management.
“My past and present experiences consist of marketing and selling products and cultivating business relationships. I am an expert in customer service and understand the importance of listening to consumers to build a strategy. I am continuously looking for new experience and opportunities within marketing and sales,” Katie explained on her LinkedIn profile.
Katie’s celebrates her birthday on October 13, which makes her a true romantic Libra. Katie’s age 31, and was 29 years-old when she starred on Below Deck.
The blonde bombshell is sporty, too. Katie enjoys wakeboarding, snowboarding, swimming and snorkeling. She also has a pet black dog.

Thankfully Katie isn’t dating her boss Ross from the show after they stopped filming off the coast of Saint Lucia. The previews show that Ross starts a romance with Katie, but at some point starts something with Stewardess Alissa Humber, too!

Well, Katie appears to be enjoying the Miami dating and party scene since filming the show in 2021. She appears very single in her most recent posts on Instagram and Facebook.
However, she wasn’t very happy about Alissa pulling Ross away from her while working the charter season in Saint Lucia.
“I think with me having a boat romance with Ross … my hardest thing was dealing with Alissa … Ross and Alissa,” Katie told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “So, not that she’s a terrible person, but when it comes to boat romances, I’m worried about myself and she tries to take him from me.”
