When it comes to Trey from The Ultimatum, it’s very hard to find something to hate. Compared to the other guys, Trey doesn’t have financial issues, deep-seated secrets or weird behaviors. We know that Trey’s birthday is March 26, which makes him a headstrong Aries. He was born in Sumter, South Carolina, and works at International Paper as a Shipping Supervisor. Trey makes amazing money, and is career is great he said on the show. Trey was 28 years old while on the show, but is age 29 now. Like Riah, he’s a graduate of the University of South Carolina but his degree is in Mechanical Engineering. Trey has an Instagram account and a Twitter/X account.
Trey’s favorite lunch spot is Rollin Local, in Georgetown, South Carolina, a popular sushi spot.
There are many friends on Trey’s social media with the last name Brunson, so it took a while to determine who Trey’s immediate family is. Trey’s mom is Thelma Brunson, based on a picture of Trey with his arm around his mom that appears on her FB profile. Thelma worked at the Kaydon Corporation, which makes bearings and shock absorbers. Maybe this is where Trey got his love of engineering from.

Thelma’s husband appears to be Stevie Brunson Sr. based on a post where Stevie, Trey and Thelma were tagged in a Valentine’s Day message. Like Trey said on the show, he came from a very structured and happily married mom and dad for over 30 years now. There aren’t many details on Stevie Sr. but he seems to be a devout Christian, like his wife, based on his necklace. Thelma has pictures of herself with a younger man named Larry Brunson, and there is also a Stevie Brunson Jr. These may be Trey’s brothers.

Clearly Trey is one savvy dude about keeping the outcome a secret, although not everyone can keep their mouth closed. You’ll notice he has his hand in his pocket in his show photographs, perhaps hiding his wedding ring. On his Facebook profile, Trey has posted some photos of Riah looking angry about Trey’s connection with Ryann McCracken. However, one comment under the pictures says, “broodie really actingggg”, which casts some doubt on the authenticity of Riah’s jealousy storyline.

There is also the question of him and Riah living in different cities according to their Facebook profiles. His says he lives in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina, and Riah’s locates her in Goose Creek in the same state. A quick Google Maps check reveals that these two places are an hour and half apart. At least Riah isn’t in Atlanta like she mentioned on the show? However this could be a trick to keep people guessing until Wednesday.

Trey and Riah definitely have issues, but they seem to be well placed to make it together. We’ll keep watching to see how their relationship develops.
