From time to time Below Deck cast have dated a charter guest or hooked up with them after meeting while filming the show. However, Max Salvador and Lara Dupreez took it to another level with Primary Charter Guest Amanda Britt’s group of girl friends. The Below Deck Med season 8 Frenchman wooed Leni while on charter. They even seemed quite smitten with each other. So, is Max dating charter guest Leni after the show?
After the all-ladies charter ended, the crew went out for dinner at the marina in Genoa, Italy, before hitting the club. They met back up with Amanda and her gaggle of girls. Max continued his flirting with Leni, who he was teasing by calling her madame instead of mademoiselle. At the club, now that he was off the clock, Max made a move. They also bonded on both being Jewish.
Lara also attracted many of the ladies aboard, kissing several of them. But she appears to be in a relationship with her girlfriend Arusha, another yachtie.

At the end of the crew night out, Max argued with Second Stew Kyle Viljoen, who claimed he and Leni would never work. Kyle pointed out the age gap, with Max only being age 23 at the time of filming season 8, meanwhile Leni was 29 years old at the time. Kyle said he bet all his tip money of the season that Max and Leni wouldn’t work out.

Fans will recall Kyle had his own rendezvous with a charter guest back on season 7, openly flirting and touching a male charter guest he had a crush on while working. Kyle and Frank then kissed on the crew night out aftewards, and Kyle thought they would date in NYC together. But after the charter season they met up and he realized they had nothing in common and weren’t meant for each other.
Max’s Instagram doesn’t show any posts with Leni, although the two follow each other. Leni’s Instagram does have some pictures of her and Max flirting in the tender together from her trip on superyacht Mustique, but nothing since. It’s pretty safe to say this boatmance didn’t set sail after the show ended.

Meanwhile, Max was tagged in a snorkel date video with 23-year-old French woman Maza on Instagram back in May of this year. We’ll have to wait and see if Leni continue to pursue a relationship the rest of Below Deck Med season 8 and hopefully Max will address what happened ot them in the Below Deck Med season 8 reunion episdoe.
