Filming in Grenada for Below Deck season 11 in early 2023, fans and other Below Deck stars were happy Captain Kerry replaced Captain Lee because, for some, like Below Deck Down Under‘s Aesha Scott, Captain Lee was now too old. So, how old is Captain Kerry Titheradge who’s replaced Captain Lee at the helm?

Meanwhile, Captain Lee celebrates his birthday on November 15, making him a shrewd Scorpio. Born in 1949, Captain Lee is currently a spry 74. On his podcast Salty With Captain Lee, the cantankerous captain said he’s still fitter than ever and hits the gym for two hours almost every single day.
Captain Kerry’s Instagram shows he’s still in great shape, at a youthful 48, and is absolutely loving life. He’s in a serious relationship with his Turkish girlfriend Ghönül Bihan. The love birds have been dating since 2020 and also live with his two kids in Florida. Captain Kerry is 26 years younger than Captain Lee.
Despite only being 48, Captain Kerry has over 30 years experience in the boating industry, and 20 in yachting. In a recent interview with Bravo, he listed all the types of boats he worked on and places around the world he’s set sail in.
“I’ve captain vessels all over the world in all different facets of the industry. I’ve worked in tourism, on parasailing boats. I’ve run sailing boats, I’ve run tugboats, I’ve done a lot of things all over the planet. Australia of course, up in the East coast, all the way down to Tasmania, the Mediterranean, both coasts of Africa, as far east as the Maldives.”
The 48-year-old captain has also sailed superyachts throughout the Caribbean, too.
