Below Deck Adventure fans were shocked by a group of charter guests celebrating the divorces of two friends, Lauran Harris and Christy Ballard. The group of older North Carolina ladies thirsted after the male crew while in Norway on superyacht Mercury. “Like one minute they’re so holy. Next minute they’re so hoe-y,” Deckhand Nathan Morley said about the older single charter guests hitting on him.

Primary charter guest Lauran Harris is a single mom (one son) who sells jewelry. She’s close with her mom, fellow charter guest Lillian Hoopaugh.

Lauran’s Instagram shows she loves dogs, spending time with her family and friends. She also like going to country concerts and vacationing in warm locales. Lauran doesn’t appear to have found a rich Norwegian guy while yachting on the show.
Her mom Lillian, who Chief Stew Faye Clarke had help set up the picnic, sells jewelry with her daughter and close with family and friends, per her Instagram. She also likes her sweet tea (southern name for iced tea), which confused Faye.

Christy Ballard’s Instagram reveals she’s mom of two teenagers and has bounced back since her divorce with her “ginger boyfriend”. She loves spending time with her kids, friends, boyfriend and Goldendoodle Dixie.

Below Deck Adventure Charter Guests Jean & Others Dragged By Fans For Hitting On Male Crew
Some Below Deck Adventure fans couldn’t believe how forward and leeringly flirty some of the charter guests were with the male crew members.
Charter guest Jean Kamens, who’s son, world-traveler Michael Gustav Kamens also chartered the yacht on the show, really surprised fans in the scene where she hit on Nathan.
“You seem a little bashful,” Jean told him as she smiled at him all alone on the boat. She also asked him if he had a girlfriend.
Despite the fan hate, Nathan and (2nd?) Stew Oriana Schneps reconnected with Jean and Christy on a weekend trip in Washington, DC. Parts of Below Deck are clearly staged, and often charter guests ham it up for the cameras. So the charter guests hitting on Nathan and Captain Kerry Titheradge could be for the cameras. Either way, Nathan doesn’t seem to have minded the attention.
Jean’s Instagram shows she loves traveling, wine and works as an interior designer.

While on the show, the women left flirty sticky notes on the captain’s door late at night. Captain Kerry played along, sticking them on his back the following morning.
Someone needs to give these clueless charter guests an update on current affairs..you can’t be a predator anymore. It’s no longer acceptable!! They’ve been in their ivory towers or behind rose colored glasses too long #belowdeckadventure

“Smoke show over there,” one of the ladies said while on the show.
“We’ve got a very handsome crew,” said another.
“Good thing most of us are single, hint, hint,” one of the ladies said.
“Our captain is hot, too.”
“I love the way he talks,” another chimed in. “He’s probably more age appropriate.”
OG Below Deck Chief Stew Adrienne Gang recently said the show’s trope of crew strip-teasing the guests is not ever done in the outside of the show in the real yachting industry.
