American expat Emily Monstrey got stuck on a trip to Australia when the country shut down any air travel in and out of the country during the pandemic. Two years later, and she moved there and made new Australian mates she invited to go on Below Deck Down Under season 2‘s superyacht Northern Sun in Cairns, Australia. Primary Charter Guest Emily invited friends from Sydney and south of Brisbane to explore part of the Great Barrier Reef while being filmed on a reality TV show. So who are Emily, Tamara Thornton, and the rest of their gang of charter guests on BDDU season 2?

Tamara got annoyed and cursed after charter guest Jack Dostine and his girlfriend Chanelle Miller claimed a guest cabin with a bigger bed and a desk that she wanted. Tamara complained to her boyfriend Rory Callow how it wasn’t fair. Could this turn into a full-blown argument, making a mountain out of a mole hill? We’ll have to wait for episode 12 to find out. However, deckhand Adam Kodra‘s dropping of the anchor while the boat was traveling at high speeds, leading to his firing, is probably going to overshadow any charter guest drama.
BDDU Season 2 Charter Guests: Who Are Emily, Tamara, Rory, Jack, Chanelle, Paul & Victoria

Emily is an American investor who ended up stuck in Australia during the pandemic and now calls Australian town Sunshine Beach, in Queensland, home. She keeps her Instagram on private, so there’s not much more publicly available about her. However, her LinkedIn shows she was a management consultant based in Traverse City, Michigan, before uprooting to Australia. She also attended the University of Michigan for a degree in economics before that.
The other expat aboard the superyacht is Victoria Kiomall. Victoria’s Instagram appears to show she’s originally from Vancouver, Canada. The Canadian transplant in Australia finished her graduate studies in Environmental Health Sciences in 2022. The same year the gang all sailed together on BDDU season 2.

Tamara’s boyfriend Rory Callow, from Sydney, who tried to calm her down over the guest cabins brouhaha, is living the “Hedge Fund Life” according to his Instagram giving a glimpse of his swanky lifestyle of designer shirts, sports cars, fancy vacations and partying with his lads. Tamara’s Instagram shows she’s the fur baby mom of her Australian Shepherd dog, Storm.

Jack’s Instagram and his girlfriend Chanelle’s Instagram, also from Sydney, reveal they got engaged recently and love traveling the world together.

Finally, Paul Williams goes by Pauly McManus on Instagram and has several passions in life, including travel, fitness, boating and flying airplanes.
For the one night on the boat the charter guests requested the theme of dinner en blanc (all-white outfits). We’ll have to wait and see what this group of swanky Australians and couple of expats get up to. They’ll certainly be more rowdy than the previous group of charter guests, lesbian couple Becky Ryniecki Mattson and Michelle Harrington and their Wisconsin family.
