Below Deck season 9 Deckhand Wes O’Dell has Sailing Yacht season 3’s Stew Gabriella Barragan working on his sailboat. What fans really want to know though, is are the two dating?
Wes and Gaby, who is currently starring in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3, first fueled rumors a month ago. Gabriela posted a picture of the two sailing on Wes’ sailboat, Nightwind II, with the caption “All work and no play”.
The two have been coy in answering if they are dating or not from fans asking.
“Captain, First Mate ?,” Gabriela ambiguously responded in the comments to one fan asking if they were in a relationship.
How Long Gabriela & Wes Have Been Working on His Sailboat
Although Below Deck fans first became aware of Wes and Gabriela working together a month ago, it looks like Gaby has been working with Captain O’Dell for two months. She first posted being on Nightwind II in the Saint Thomas, US Virgin Islands, on February 7.
She’s also working as a deckhand, a role she did on other yachts before being a stew on Parsifal III.
Wes O’Dell went on Another Below Deck Podcast recently. On the show a co-host said that he knew Wes was “friends” with Gaby. Wes didn’t correct the statement, so it doesn’t appear the two are officially dating. However, Gabriela went on the podcast after Wes and may give a clearer answer on where the two stand.
This week, Gabriella posted an Instagram story having a meal at a restaurant with Wes. If Wes is interested in Gaby, let’s hope he makes a move this time unlike with Below Deck season 9 Third Stew Jessica Albert.
