Below Deck season 10 got a replacement stew-deckhand pretty quickly after Captain Sandy Yawn finally fired prima donna Camille Lamb. South African Tyler Walker joined the crew near the end of the charter with businessman Adam Sax and his pregnant wife Louisa as guests. Chief Stew Fraser Olender noted that Tyler has way more experience than anyone else on his interior team, so he should be a lot more helpful than Camille. Stew Hayley De Sola Pinto said, “Tyler is clearly amazing at housekeeping. He’s good at the things that I’m actually horrific at doing, so this is going to work out really well.”
Although a lot of fans suspected yachtie chief stew Leigh-Ann Smith replaced Camille, it looks like someone else gets fired on Below Deck season 10 who she then replaces.

“I know what needs to be done, I don’t need people to tell me what to do,” Tyler said on the show in a monologue. “I just need people to tell me when to stop doing it.”
The yachtie workaholic left South Africa, where he grew up in a small religious town, for yachting as soon as he finished his schooling.
Tyler describes his sexuality as “fluid” and that he had just “started something new” with a boyfriend before joining the crew. He had a crying fit when he got hired to work on superyacht St. David in Saint Lucia because he had to leave his new relationship. Tyler’s boyfriend while on the show is from Savannah, Georgia.

Tyler’s Instagram doesn’t include any couple pictures, so it’s likely the two split since the show filmed in early 2022. His social media also reveals he enjoys surfing, skateboarding, spending time with his friends and traveling. He’s recently visited Toronto, Canada, Costa Rica, the Bahamas and several cities in the United States.
On the show, Tyler said he wants to have kids by age 25, so he’s in his early twenties. Tyler says the yachting industry allowed him to explore himself.
