Netflix bought the rights to Million Dollar Decorators season 1 and the show is wowing viewers with just how much the rich and famous will spend on the interior design of their homes. The Million Dollar Decorators cast continue to dazzle their clients with their taste for decor to this day, but no one more so than the British design guru Martyn Lawrence Bullard. While on the show he casually listed off a large rolodex of celebrity clients he works for. So what happened to Martyn Lawrence Bullard after Bravo’s Million Dollar Decorators was cancelled after two seasons?
In twelve years, Martyn still reigns supreme as one of the most cutting edge and most sought-after interior decorators around the globe.
On the show, Martyn clearly was a cut above. “I came to LA thinking, ‘Oh, I’m going to become a star.’ Now I’m an interior design star. It’s amazing. Currently I’m working in six countries, possibly seven very soon. At this stage in my career I can’t really take on jobs that don’t have a million dollar budget. My clients have included Sir Elton John, Christina Aguilera, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Cher.”
In the second episode of Million Dollar Decorators he floored Sharon Osbourne when he managed to decorate her luxurious condo in Beverly Hills with only three days notice.
“The magazine editors and fans I have around the world can’t believe that I can do so many looks, but that’s something that makes it delicious for me, actually. I sell you your look. I’m here to find your fantasy and make that a reality.”

“You know, my book is also filled with really dear friends of mine’s interiors that I’ve worked on. Ellen Pompeo, who is one of my very close friends, I’ve gotten work with her for over a decade now. This house, which is her latest house, is a beautiful beach house in Malibu, is a very special kind of mid-century architectural property. And we got to design this in such a fun way. It’s this very sexy, kind of loungey, kind of cool family house that’s got so many fun elements to it,” Martyn explains in one video showcasing his new book.
It only makes sense that @RuPaul's LA home is just as fabulous as he is.
