On Instagram, Captain Glenn explained to fans what exactly his wafer-like bread snack is.

While on his own boat off the coast of northern Sardinia, the second largest island in Italy, he told his fans it’s actually Sardinian flatbread.

Captain Glenn butchered the name of the Sardinian flatbread, which is called pane carasau. In the video, he told fans he had bought a bunch of the Italian flatbread in Sardinia before doing a loop around Corsica, the famous French island where Napoleon was born and raised. He must’ve stocked up, because in the video he returned from his trip and still had some flatbread onboard.

“It looks funny, because it’s so big. But it’s a light, nice snack,” he told viewers.

Capatain Glenn’s favorite Sardinian flatbread brand’s ingredients are flour of durum wheat semolina, water, yeast, and salt. For those looking to buy some, Captain Glenn was eating food brand Cherchi’s parchment paper Italian flatbread called Pergamena di pane.

Captain Glenn made sure Parsifal III stocked up on the Italian flatbread before filming Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3. The yacht was in Sardinia before heading to film in Menorca, Spain, via the Mediterranean Sea.
