Shark Tank: What Happened To Supermix Studio After The Show

Shark Tank season 15 has a lot of companies starving for capital investment in their companies because of a rough recession-like economy. Supermix Studio customizable kids’ clothing company founder Jennifer Stein-Bischoff was looking for one or more sharks to invest $250,000 for a 10 percent stake in her business. Sharks Mark Cuban, Robert Herjavec, and Kevin O’Leary weren’t impressed when they found out Stein-Bischoff wanted to focus on expanding her business in retail. They also found the initial sales over the past year and a half to be anemic. So, could Stein-Bischoff get a deal? Also, what happened to Supermix Studio after appearing on Shark Tank?

Shark Tank season 15 filmed in the summer of 2023, in a time period when venture capital had dried up ever since economic turbulence started in 2022. O’Leary pointed this out when Sharks Lori Greiner and Daymond John lowballed the valuation of her company by asking for 25 percent of the company and 5 percent royalty on sales until they recouped their initial investment of $250,000. O’Leary made it clear that she was lucky to be getting offered investment in the current economic climate in kids’ apparel.
