Kelsie Goglia has thus far been elusive from the camera on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3‘s first five episodes. Other crew have described her as weird, including Captain Glenn Shephard, but she’s had very little screen time for viewers to judge.
Sure, she used her hair to floss her teeth one time, and she says some odd things, but she’s definitely not giving similar vibes to Below Deck‘s Raquel “Rocky” Dakota or Sierra Storm. Parsifal III colleague from BDSY season 3 Ashley Marti and her are thick as thieves. Ashley and Kelsie ate at Chef Marcos’ restaurant recently in LA and look to be good friends.
Since Kelsie from Below Deck Sailing Yacht has had little time on the show, here’s everything you need to know.
Kelsie’s Age, Birthday, Previous Jobs & College
Deckhand Kelsie Goglia is age 26, and she’s turning 27 years-old on June 29 of 2022, making her a Cancer. That helps explain her quiet and quirky personality.
Before working on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3, Kelsie worked a lot of other jobs, according to her LinkedIn. Some of her previous jobs before getting into yachting include: multimedia journalist, brand representative for Abercrombie & Fitch, working at Fox Sports, sales and marketing specialist for a professional lacrosse team. Kelise first started working on yachts in 2019. Kelsie said she made more money working with friends in Croatia on a yacht than working at home.
Besides working on yachts, Kelsie’s LinkedIn also says she works as the entertainment team coordinator for the San Diego Padres.
Before starting her career, Kelsie studied journalism and communications at San Diego State University. That’s the same school her BDSY season 3 colleague Gabriela Barragan also went to that college.
Kelsie’s Instagram, Facebook, Relationship Status & Hobbies
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 deckhand appears to be single if her social media accounts are any indicator.
On Kelsie’s Instagram, she posts of her traveling, partying, watching sports, enjoying the outdoors, swimming, and watching concerts. Her Facebook and Instagram also show she is very close with her family.
She has traveled a lot of the world, including 15 countries in Europe. Kelsie’s a big sports fan, which makes sense considering several of her jobs she’s had. She’s a fan the Los Angeles Chargers and San Diego Padres.
Despite the Below Deck editors portraying Kelsie as a bit odd, her popularity with friends and family suggests she’s normal. Perhaps she got less time on the show, like Below Deck season 9 Deckhand Wes O’Dell, because she wasn’t wild enough for the reality TV drama show producers know hooks audiences.
