Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans spotted Chef Marcos Spaziani and Deckhand Kelsie Goglia close in Parsifal III‘s hot tub. Now viewers are wondering if Kelsie and Marcos had a boatmance while on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3.
Chef Marcos & Kelsie Cozy in The Hot Tub
While Deckhand Tom Pearson lost it on Third Stew Ashley Marti for ditching him for First Officer Gary King, Chef Marcos and Kelsie were chilling close to each other in the hot tub.
There are only a few brief moments where fans can see the two together in the background when Tom poured a drink on Ashley. However, that was enough to convince some fans there might be something there between the two.
“That’s the girl who was snuggling with Marcos in the hot tub in the background of Tom pouring a drink on Ashley’s head! ? she knows what’s up!” said Below Deck fan and Reddit user ItsNotMeItsYou99.
“Yes. Yes she does. Literally watch Marcos in the mornings when he greets everyone, she’s always there,” another fan chimed in.
“I demand more shots of Kelsey and Marcos they seemed like they were flirting!” said another.
However, other fans are doubtful that Marcos, age 42 while on the show, would fool around with Kelsie, age 26.
“Marcos is busy in the galley and has multiple businesses in LA. He’s also not in his 20s (42) and is smart enough to not hook up with 24 year-olds,” said one Reddit user.
Chef Marcos earlier in the season did recount in his younger days sleeping with all the women in of an all-female crew. Apparently they found out he was playing them all and things didn’t end well for him that charter season. However, fans believe Marcos is a lot more mature at age 42 than in his younger days.
Kelsie Eats At Chef Marcos’ LA Restaurant Two Days In A Row
Although there’s little evidence anything happened between Marcos and Kelsie other than some flirting in the hot tub and her routinely shown in the galley hanging with him, some fans still think a showmance is developing.
If there is one, the BDSY season 3 production crew have done a good job of hiding it from the previews. It looks more like something happens between Kelsie and Gary over Chef Marcos. And if anything was happening this early in the season it wouldn’t make any sense for production to hide it.
Chef Marcos wouldn’t be the first Below Deck chef to date a girl significantly younger, either. Chef Ben Robinson dated Emily Warburton-Adams after they met on Below Deck season 4. Emily and Ben have an age difference of just under 15 years. The age difference between Chef Marcos and Kelsie have an age difference of 16-and-a-half years.
Kelsie ate at Chef Marcos’ restaurant a week ago, which will only further fuel rumors among fans. First she had dinner with co-star Ashley, but Marcos wasn’t there that night. The next day she went back with her dad to eat at the chef’s restaurant again. However, an Instagram post of them together outside his restaurant makes it pretty clear they’re just good friends.
Gary Says Marcos Had A Girlfriend While On Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3
“I think Marcos had a girlfriend,” Gary explained on former Below Deck Mediterranean Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier’s podcast. (Speaking of Hannah, she just got married.)
Gary was explaining to Hannah why all the girls were after him, instead of Chief Engineer Colin MacRae or Marcos.
“It’s very difficult in yachting to have a relationship. Because you are either on the same boat and together 24/7, or you are on different boats and never see each other,” Hannah said on the podcast about yachtie romances.
