Since The Ultimatum season 2 is having a pretty boring second time around, fans have selected Alex Chapman as the season villain out of all the cast. Alex does have some serious competition, between Lisa Horne slapping Brian Okoye in the face and Antonio Mattei’s immaturity. It’s also true that Roxanne Kaiser doesn’t respect her partner Antonio despite not saying so in so many words. However, Alex from The Ultimatum and his coldness towards partner Kat Shelton and outburst towards Roxanne means he doesn’t even have defenders.
Fans are calling him a misogynist and saying he has a personality disorder (based off of about 30 minutes of total airtime of selectively edited clips). Alex has since come out and said on Instagram, “Yes for sure [I was mischaracterized], I’m not an asshole! I have a heart and emotions.”
He’s also working on himself to always be better. “Yes! I have always been changing and growing and will always try to be better. Going on the show shifted the priorities of what I’m working on. I will always be working to improve myself.”

As we’ve already covered, Alex is 31 years old and has been dating Kat since 2020. His software job is the Principal Accounts Executive at Hubspot according to his LinkedIn. Alex’s IG shows that he is a Chicago Blackhawks fan and enjoys playing tennis, fishing, skiing, and running marathons. He is living in Charlotte, North Carolina, but is originally from Chicago, Illinois, and has worked in Miami before. He lives near downtown Charlotte, 20 minutes from where they filmed The Ultimatum season 2.

We don’t know Alex’s birthdate, but we do have a TikTok from Kat where she talks about a 30th birthday weekend. Since Kat is under 30, this is probably Alex’s 30th. The date of that TikTok is Feb 21, 2021, which was a Sunday. If Alex was born on this date or anytime after February 18, this would make him a Pisces. They are good at adapting to their surroundings and have boundary issues, which describes Alex pretty well.

We met Alex’s parents Jennifer and Glenn in Episode 4 of season 2. Both Jennifer and Glenn have IG accounts. Jennifer’s IG can be found here, and she has commented on one of Alex’s photos saying she loves her grandbaby. It turns out Alex has an older brother who’s wife had a baby boy recently.
A quick-fingered Redditor found a pic of Kat with a ring on her finger before it was deleted before the reunion released, confirming the two got engaged. When you look at Jennifer’s 123 followers, you can find Glenn’s IG as well. Both Glenn and Jennifer only have one post on their IG’s, but Glenn reveals that he is the owner of Ginger the dog on his.

We also know Jennifer’s birthday, and her age. Alex made a post celebrating Jennifer’s 50th birthday on April 4th of this year. This means that Jennifer is a headstrong but dedicated Aries. And, despite whatever Glenn and Jen have said about Kat “not challenging” Alex, Kat is following both Glen and Jennifer on IG and FB. Unless something is very wrong here, Kat and Alex are at least still together. Glenn’s Facebook reveals that he is a fan of Ivanka Trump, which doesn’t explain Alex’s behavior on its own but it is interesting. However this is not the biggest revelation from studying Glenn’s social media. We found a LinkedIn profile for a Glenn Chapman who lives in North Carolina and also went to Marquette University. Glenn is the CEO of Sparkinator, and if we go back to Alex’s LinkedIn, we see that he worked at Sparkinator too until 2022! So the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
