Love Is Blind season 5‘s Uche Okoroha is quickly becoming one of the villains of the show. Fans couldn’t believe he judged and chastised Aaliyah Cosby for cheating on an ex boyfriend two years prior after she transparently confessed to him what happened. To top it off, Uche had hidden that her friend in the pods, Lydia Gonzalez, was his former side piece and only stopped hooking up with her three months prior. So who is Love Is Blind‘s Uche, the smooth-talking lawyer from Houston, Texas?
In the pods he and Aaliyah connected because he did spoken word poetry in college and she’s also a big fan who’s also a poet. In the pods he admitted to cheating once when he was 18 but never doing it again. He also talked about being a lawyer and owning his own software business. Meanwhile, Lydia sang his praises, and even wanted to try dating him again in the pods. Fans are convinced she wasn’t over him and some even speculate she went on the show to chase him.
Lydia told Aaliyah she’s going to love Kobe, Uche’s dog. She said Kobe peed himself every time he saw her out of excitement and rips all his toys. Lydia warned Aaliyah that Uche’s a workaholic, OCD, and his “house is dope” that has “three-levels”. He also drives a royal blue (his favorite color) Tesla.

On the show, which was started filming in late March 2022, was age 33, but he’s currently 34 years-old. Uche’s LinkedIn shows he attended the University of Houston and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. After that, he attended George Washington University Law School where he got his law degree. After that, he worked as a law clerk at a law firm. He then worked at an insurance company and a national tax consulting firm. Since then, he started two very successful businesses. He co-founded Parachor Consulting, where he’s still CEO, nearly seven years ago. The company specializes in helping companies get research and development grants and save money in corporate taxes.
Uche’s second company, TaxRobot, is software company that uses AI software to help businesses file their taxes. Uche’s two businesses provide him with a luxurious lifestyle, including regular travel to places like Mexico, yachting in Chicago, Thailand, Las Vegas, and Hawaii.

Uche’s pet dog Kobe, is a very cute two-and-half-year-old Labradoodle. Uche’s Instagram (@imabovethelaw) shows he’s a proud uncle and has a Nigerian background, too. His IG looks heavily scrubbed because he only has around 20 newer posts despite being on the social media app since 2014. Although Uche’s exact height isn’t know, him standing next to other cast members suggest he’s well over six feet tall.
Uche’s TikTok account doesn’t have any posts. But maybe he will start now that he’s becoming reality TV famous.

In the pods, Uche was interested in scientist Miriam originally raised in Nigeria. But after she couldn’t properly describe her skincare business to him, he seemed to lose interest. He then focused his attention on Aaliyah. Although she left the experiment abruptly after finding out he had dated her friend Lydia, things looked over. However, previews for upcoming episodes show the two reconnecting outside the pods. Uche, although originally judging Aaliyah for not telling her ex boyfriend she cheated, did say it was a good thing she was honest with him. However, she left the pod before he said it.
