All Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Tip Money & Charter Guests

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 found the crew dealing with some pretty demanding charter guests aboard superyacht Parsifal III. But nothing compared to BDSY season 3’s Erica Rose’s group or Dr. Kim Nichols and her husband. Thankfully BDSY season 4 charter guests know how to tip well, too. Let’s take a close look at all Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 tip money and how much each crew member made, including totals from each charter, and how it compares to previous Below Deck seasons.

BDSY Season 4’s Final Charter Guests Includes Throuple With Triple Trouble

Primary Charter Guest Todd Cameron, his boyfriend Grant Foreman, mom Debra Nicholson Marcellus, as well as throuple Brad Jacobson, Randy “Ray” Murry, and Nic Grana gave the crew major challenges after a largely easy charter season when it came to rude and demanding guests.

Grant and Ray verbally attacked one another. Ray continued to ratchet up the heat throughout the first night after getting incredibly wasted after drinking like a fish. Ray even barged into Grant and Todd’s cabin but was quickly kicked off. It got so bad Captain Glenn Shephard had to threaten to kick the “aggro” guest off. After sleeping off his drunken stupor, Ray smartened up for the rest of the charter. Despite that, Lucy Edmunds almost quite right near the end of the charter season due to how disgusting they left the cabin with unflushed toilets and vomit everywhere. Even after being disgusting, nearly dangerous and rude, this group of charter guests only tipped $17,500 to the crew or $1,944 each.

Below Deck Season 8   Returning Charter Guests Bryan, Craig & Wickliffe

BDSY: Meet Charter Guests Craig, Wickliffe, Madison & Erik

The eighth Primary Charter Guest Bryan Guarnieri is a familiar face for avid Below Deck fans. He and his fellow charter guests and married couple Craig Lowry Shreve and Wickliffe Shreve first sailed on superyacht My Seanna in Antigua on Below Deck season 8. Their list of demands on their preference sheets ticked off Chef Rachel Hargrove so much she briefly quit the show. So the BDSY season 4 crew have their work cut out for them. This group of gays were certainly easier to handle than the aggressive group of guys who came after.

The crew delivered on Bryan’s long list of demands and he was very please to see more LGBTQ+ allies. Bryan and his gay friends gave the crew a $30,000 USD tip! Split nine ways, the crew members made $3,333 in tip money each.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Tip Money: Primary Alisa & Friends

BDSY season 4 charter guests Alissa and Tim in Italy

BDSY season 4 charter guests Alissa and Tim in Italy (Bravo).

Seventh Primary Charter Guest Alissa Guetzkow wanted to be serenaded by guitar under the Italian moon. Instead, she had sushi off of the body of First Officer Gary King and enjoyed guitar from Chief Engineer Colin MacRae while in France’s Corsica, in the gorgeous harbor of Bonifacio, thanks to Captain Glenn pulling out all the stops. Based in Los Angeles, California, Alisa is a design professional. Joining her on the yachting sailboat trip of a lifetime were her besties Lauren Kathryn, Robyn Eckard Rasmussen, Meghan Gianatasio, Tim Rickler and Marji. Interior designer Tim smashed his face off the sliding glass door right before the end of their charter and was bleeding. Otherwise the drama among crew members overshadowed this group.

Chief Stewardess Daisy Kelliher was completely distracted the entire charter. Repeatedly, stewardesses Mads Herrera and Lucy were nowhere to be found when the charter guests needed them. Despite the tardy service, Alissa and friends gave the crew $20,000 or $2,222 each.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Tip Money: Charter Guest Suginia & Friends

BDSY: Who Is Suginia Jones, Charter Guest From Season 10

Charter guest Suginia from Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 who wanted a Caribbean dinner (Bravo).

Sixth Primary Charter Guest Suginia Jones joined the crew in Sardinia, Italy, alongside her friends and husband to celebrate her birthday. Chef Ileisha Dell learned how to cook Caribbean food per Suginia’s request, including oxtails and Johnnycakes, and made an amazing cake with custard and fruit inside. Despite Daisy’s drama causing her head to be out of the game in serving these charter guests, the Brooklyn-based child psychologist and friends ponied up a $20,000 to the crew, or $2,222 (€1,957) for each of the nine crew members.

Fifth Primary Charter Guest Jill Runnion and her gaggle of older ladies salivated over the deck crew, especially deckhands Chase Lemacks and Alex Propson. Jill’s friend Lorrie Emory shocked fans when she accused the crew of stealing her diamond necklace and earrings. Of course she had misplaced them, but she failed to properly apologize. The ladies from North Carolina had a great time, and hit on Chase a bunch while in the hot tub. The ladies tipped very generously for a one-night charter, giving the crew $13,000 which splits to $1444 (€1,273) per cast member.

Very rich Coloradan RV salesman Jim Blumenthal returned to Parsifal III with his younger wife Veronica and their good friends, Ken and Christina Good, and couple Rick and Marni Gruitch. This group of charter guests asked the crew to perform another talent show for them. Besides some engine trouble, this charter largely went off without a hitch. Jim, his wife and friends were left impressed, giving the biggest tip of the season so far. They left the crew $27,500 or $3055 (€2,700) each.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Tip Money: Charter Guest John Cerasani

Loud-mouth brash businessman John Cerasani invited his girlfriend Natalia, his son Jacob, daughter Anastasia, and couple TJ and Lauren. The Chicago investor capitalist barked orders at the crew. Somehow his kids learned manners and used them. John’s son ended up having an incident in the water where he crashed into TJ with a hydrofoil. TJ ended up with a gash in his scalp that needed stitches. He and his wife ended up off the boat the one night waiting at the hospital emergency room. Despite the damper on the trip, John and others on the trip tipped well, gifting the crew $23,000 or $2,555 (€2,250) for each of the nine crew members.

The Second Group Of Charter Guests Included American Idol Season 1’s Runner-up Justin Guarini

Second Primary Charter Guest Kim Walsh Phillips invited a group of her friends on the sailing yacht. Included on the guest list, American Idol star Justin Guarini. He works with Kim on her business coach and entrepreneur endeavors. Kim and the rest of the charter guests were so gracious. They invited the entire crew to eat dinner with them. Captain Glenn was so impressed by Kim that he’s endorsed her book and is in talks to work on business ventures with her. Kim, Justin and friends gave the crew a $23,000 tip. That worked out to $2,555 (€2,250) for each cast member.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4: Charter Guest Karen’s Group Tipped Well

Charter guests Staphanie and Karen

Charter guests Staphanie and Karen (Bravo).

BDSY season 4’s first Primary Charter Guest and technology business partner Stephanie Seutter came on the boat with seven of her girl friends: Melody Murphy, Mary Lynn Mullen, Karen Scherer, Ashley Jeffers, Ann Marie Edwards, Ashley Liburdi and Ashley Jeffers. The eight ladies from Austen, Texas, were very disappointed when they found out they’d be stuck on the dock their entire trip due to the boat’s engine failure. They did their best to make spiked lemonade out of lemons, however, getting very drunk throughout the charter.

Karen Scherer made waves with viewers at the end of the charter though. She complained to Captain Glenn about a lack of toilet paper and towels. She lived up to the name of Karen in many fans’ eyes, They thought she complained simply because she was mad they didn’t get to sail.

“Beyond heartbroken after hearing all of Daisy’s comments about our charter. I really felt like we were as gracious as could be given we never left the dock. I don’t recall any of us disrespecting the crew, but obviously we pissed off Daisy after I watched the show,” Karen said on her Instagram.

Apparently she was so upset the cried. “I cried so hard because we all tried to be respectful and the entire crew bashed us. Except Captain Glenn. My heart is broken after watching the second episode,”

Despite the minor kerfuffle and lack of sailing the group of ladies still tipped well. The crew received a $19,100 tip, which worked out to $2,122 (€2,105) each. That’s actually very generous considering the charter guests already paid $40,000 to hangout on a docked yacht for two days.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Total Tip Money

in the end, the BDSY season 4 crew earned a total of $193,100 in tips from nine charters. That divides into $21,455 for each cast member. Of course, that doesn’t include the salary and reality TV acting pay Below Deck cast members also get paid.

On Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 the crew made $160,500 in tips. Which means each crew member made $16,762 each last season. Season 4’s crew easily surpassed that amount. They already even beat how much the Below Deck season 10’s crew made. They raked in $222,300 in tip money or $17,000 each. We’ll have to wait and see how much BDSY season 4’s crew will make in tip money by season’s end.
